No, there are plenty before him that set the bar far higher than that. Bush alone made the bar high, then of course you had Nixon...even Harding was a moron. If you really want to ditch into political affairs it can argued that Republicans have far surpassed Democrats in the illiterate area. They have consistently dipped into our country's 'piggy bank,' on top of enacting completly ridiculous laws (just for example, The Patriot Act).

But to play fair, they are all pretty much well stupid anymore. Politicians are taught to lie, and they do it pretty well...and unfortunately our country is taught to have the lies shoveled into our life without thinking twice about them. Such as Iraq, and even Democrats are guilty on this side (Clinton).

There is no right or left, there is only center now...this country single-handedly destroyed the only thing that was actually admirable about it...freedom. I know, I know, it just isn't the same unless you can point the finger at one side or the other...but trust me, they are both just as bad.

If there was ever a snowballs chance in hell for a Independent to win the next Presidential it is now.People are fed up with both the Republicans and Democrats myself included.Lets hope there is a Independent running next election so we can thrown these crybabies out.

I believe there is a strong possibility that any non Democrat or Republican candidate will wind up being associated with the Tea Party.

Even if a true Independent stepped up, the main stream media will, as always, pay no attention to whoever it may be. Therefore, people will no nothing about him or her because they are too lazy and apathetic to bother educating themselves.

When you are told that if you don't pay taxes, you go to jail or face fines and civil penalties, it's not voluntary in any way.

If a small business owner doesn't pay the taxes imposed by the government, that owner will face " tax evasion " charges or penalties and fines for not doing so.

If you really want to change things , then you well have to take over a party . The partys have built there selfs protection ,it's so hard to run as an independant the election is over before you get our freedom to kick in .
But we could take over a party . thats what happened in the 60's with the vietnam era rats . I would say that the democrates would be the easiest to take over . Think about it it would be the fastest way to end the corruption .

There is no argument at all that taxes are not, in ANY way, voluntary. You absolutely HAVE to pay them or you will be penalized.
