why are you here? not on mingle but in life? i really dig younger people! i really believe that to share my experiences with them in a non age manner... is my purpose... to help others... i like it , i love it... i want some more of it! lol! i love to learn.. i dig off information! but i also like to share what i learned with others! i remember when i had kids at home all the kids would come to my house and hang out.. and we would sit in a circle and talk... i sooo miss that! i even took some in without payment ! and never down talk their parents and be a monitor when they talked. to make sure the child was safe! although the natural parent was good, the step mom abused. in the end they went home to a safer environment...i really miss having kids around! mine are all grown.. im not quite sure my purpose... other than i have taken tests.. and it is all about helping others... but i have learned this................ i am important as well!  I believe we all have the same general purpose in life, but we are given individuals gifts for a more specific purpose per individual. Basically, we are all here for the same reasons, but then we each of some sort of specialty, kinda. I'm not exactly sure why I'm here. I love people, I love making people feel relaxed and comfortable. I love to listen to people rather it be they are sharing their deepest darkest secerets, or just rambling on about nonsense, I MUST listen when someone is speaking to me. Perhaps this is part of my purpose here. |

Purpose ... ? We got to have a purpose ... ? The cruise line didn't say a damned thing about no 'purpose' when I signed up to go on this tour ... 'purpose' ... indeed ... I'm lookin' for souvenir shops ...

The more I live, the more I see that I'm here to learn the physical reality of both good and bad. The balance of it all. The more I've chased only good, the more I've created unhappiness. I'm on this ride because I was destined to experience exactly what I have... like it or not. I also believe that I was brought here to be a mother and to learn/remember how to Love. I learn how to love rather than seek to be loved. |

I"m really not feeling i belong here and really tired of it lmao! funny but not!I like to have fun and joke around and have a great laugh....... but my gawd ! I'm just not feeling the lack of here! ok, quit your whining  I'll give you a real answer. My purpose? well I don't think anyone already knows what their purpose in life is. Life to me is a journey in order to find that purpose. What you think your purpose is may easily change one day based on new knowledge you have learned. My purpose right now is to take that journey of self-discovery, and along the way try to help people that need it. But I don't know what my purpose will be at the end of my journey...if it ever ends. |

I have no purpose. I'm now early retired with Social Security Disability and I do nothing but sit around the house pretty much 24/7. That, and my wife of 35 years divorced me a year and a half ago and I'm still dealing with the grief of that. I've always wondered why the street people with those carts we see, want to continue to live in the situations they're in, rather then just die. They must have an extreme survival instinct. I'm not trying to be nasty and insensitive, but they're just a burden on society and I would never be able to handle that kind of life. I absolutely hate my life and would consider it a "blessing" to go to sleep and just not wake-up. This is probably way more then you were expecting in your thread, but sometimes it's good to vent.

I wondered for years exactly what my purpose was. I only recentlyl discovered its to make a difference in others lives. I never realized how much of an impact I made on people younger and even my age and thats a good feeling. I did nothing special; just did my job but when someone comes up to me and says hey, you made a difference in my life; ie: a young adult remembering how I encouraged them to stay with music, or a dignatary from the military saying I was a pioneer in being one of the first women to serve on a combat ship. As I said just doing my job but hey if it helps others then thats a bonus. We need not be famous and rich to have a purpose in life as in we indeed all do have our own purpose of being here. Sometimes it takes others to point it out to us.
