lighten up..really..i wasnt aware i was being so heavy,actually. You weren't! Some people are just having fun at your expense. Don't take what they're saying to heart. The OP was right to do what she did. I have complete respect for her and wish more women would do the same under the same circumstances. Some guys (like the one the OP was talking about) are really immature, and women seem to always use them as the stereotype, so I understand why you got upset, but life is too short to worry about pineapples. Now if that would have been a cactus it might be different... |

he musta got the same wrong idea that you have.. cause all yer doing is using her words against her,instead of relating. unless thats some form of humour..which,i cant seem to find much humour in.. the guy was a jerk,period....shes right..no real respectin man would have treated her that way. I agree that we shouldn't HAVE to deal with idiots like that and I think she did the right thing in tossing him to the curb.

ive heard guys talk like this before but not in front of others.. pretty gutsy if u ask me.. honestly it sounds like he was in the front seat with you. why was your girlfriend not in the front seat?. you did not toss his friend out too? i may have missed something here... it did said they rode to the next bar with "me" not "us" was your girlfriend not riding with you? to the second bar? and where were u taking these boys after the second bar? back where you found them at the first bar?
a real gent would of asked you for your phone number.. if he was interested.. obviously he just thought he was some gods gift to women.. |

and geesh people.. some people like to go out once in a while.. and dont go to bars every weekend... just because i go to a bar 3 times a yr does not make me a barfly... because i went to listen to my friends band makes me a barfly? i think sometimes you could meet someone at a bar.. your are all sterio typing every patron that you happen to see in a bar.. quite interesting..
not that i can play pool very good but i like sometimes to go try.. should i drive 30 miles to a billiard place and pay 4 times as much to play a game of pool or go to the bar down the street? lol.. when i used to go out much more often to bars, ive seen a lot of people who just went to do kereoke that did not drink |

i agree..i go to bars very rarely,but thats exactly why i go..to shoot some pool,and see whats happening. sometimes,as you said,one of my friends bands is playing,and ill go to support them. most of the time,its loaded with bar floozies and drunk dudes..not my scene. but,occasionly,a couple of women will come in together,for their nite out,so to speak. those are the only type of women id be interested in,and it happens Rarely. just my .02 on my local scenery. |

it depends on the bar really. Where I go, it's like a big family. I go for pool and shuffleboard tourneys and listen to karoke. Just because it may not be someone elses idea of fun...not everyone that goes often is a floozie or only there to hook up....just saying not to assume things. In fact the only reason I go to Tommy's is because I know everyone and we look out for each other

oh shuffleboard is fun too... my friend and i went to a bar a while back i think in november to go play and the darned bar took it out!! it was the purpose of us going there too lol!! and they had a Foosball table as well.. both were free.. so we ended up having one drink and leaving lol.. and yea if there is a gathering place of close friends.. another reason to go.. however it is not to go to meet a man lol its to hang out with your friends... or it does not make u bait for a drunk idiot either just because u are there.... does not make u a loose person... that very same guy that did that to her probably has some other interest as well... just say hummm he likes to go to the bookstore as well..... so you can meet that same jerk at the bookstore as well......

it depends on the bar really. well said..the bars around here,local,are two. ones a complete and utter redneck bar...has one pool table,which they slide all over the place,so you can imagine how crappy it is and it has karaoke. it was recently bought out by a cop...attendance has dropped off the map.... gee,i wonder why... the other is a biker bar,which is Loaded on the weekends..i went past last nite,and there was at least 50-75 people in there....again,not my scene. any other bars,are at least an hour away,and theres no way id drive an hour,have a drink,and drive home. you are very lucky to have a Good bar to go to.

hmmmmm the bar I go to is a hole in the wall redneck/biker type bar. everyone is welcomed there though, as long as you behave yourself. The ones I avoid are the big dance clubs (whether it's country or not) those tend to be meat markets, so I don't go unless with a group. Even then, just because I'm there doesn't mean I'm looking for anything. |
