I think the Obama victory was one of the best things that ever happend to this country in a long time! Before we had an option of "mcCain liberal" Or liberal. Now with most of the liberal republicans out on their azz and Obama failing miserably we may get true sweeping change and actually get some real true conservatives in office! Hoping for the republican party to return to their roots in 2010 for a sweeping victory and we will get this country back on track! Liberals such as pres. Bush and mCacin and the likes have left us with either bad ideas or no ideas. It is time to return to true american values of a republic! If the conservatives stop playing moderate we will have a chance! A perfect example is the housing crash, the democrats wrote the legislation and bush signed it! We need real conservatives like Goldwater! 2010 baby!

I still wouldnt have voted McCain. I am not unhappy with OBama at all for having been in one year and had what he had to work with. I didnt feel McCain represented things that were important to me and I was terrified at the SLIGHTEST chance someone like PALIN might step in for him. I usually decide my choice during the elections, and I just agreed more with OBamas answers and solutions than I did McCain.

does anybody really understand what greedy immature doinks we have in congress..??? what the presidents responsibilities are??? that he asks congress to propose a bill, tells them what he'd like to see in it,and it's their job to come up with a good one... if they actually come up with one he then signs it.....come on people start looking at the real picture and quit trying to place blame on a figure head..... we dont need a scapegoat, we need solutions THEN WE NEED A FRESH START WITH ALL NEW POLITICIALS AND JUDGES WHO CAN READ . |

Also with the parties, they argue more than get anything done or passed because of which they belong to. Now, something needs to be done about that. Maybe a IQ test, among others, if you're going to represent the people? It's just ridiculous, how nothing gets done unless it's on someone's agenda, or how much they get paid.

Funny how every other democratic country had 3-4-5 parties competing for majority and presidency, only US is stuck in a left-right, blue-red paradigm.
And then most respond "I voted for the lesser evil". How about voting for not a "lesser evil" but refuse to vote if only evils are presented? For me, both democrats and republicans blew it, I'm voting for whatever newest 3rd or 4th party emerges , if nothing emerges, I am not voting. Red pill or blue pill..how about not taking either of them. |

So when, exactly, is it going to be that people stop making up excuses ( BLAME BUSH!!! ) for his lack of progress?? How much further into the toilet does the country have to go before he actually becomes accountable?? 2 years?? 3 years?? His entire presidency??? What the hell...let's just keep blaming Bush for the next 3 years. It's worked pretty well so far, right? |
