Could be worse, at least she didn't say she'd love you long time......

Pfffft, the thread is still going....

True, she could be the one......I bet you could have fun opening pop tart wrappers together...Oh hell, I'm out of them, now I want a cherry pop tart with sprinkles.sad sad sad sad

My favorite is Brown Sugar-Cinnamon, although they had some Orange ones out awhile back (one of those "limited time offers") that were pretty good, too.

But she may have been able to.

Meh. That approach is not going to "grab" me, so to speak.

Ahh, but think of the fun you could have had herding llamas together.

Never seen the orange ones, I wonder if they'll ever bring them back?

Speaking of reviving things, what the heck happened to your worship Lex thread?huh

That's the whole thing -- if someone sent me an e-mail about herding llamas, that would be a strong positive indicator.

If someone sent me an e-mail about herding llamas wearing red hats and trying to destroy Carthage, well she'd be totally in! They're just not down with the conceptual continuity, or so it seems....

And if her name was Helen you could launch a thousand ships together.

I hope so, but....it always seems that when I like a product, it gets discontinued 5 minutes after I become addicted,

Like back in 2005, there was this Mountain Dew Pitch Black, which was just Mountain Dew with grape in it. It was fantastic. They stopped making it as soon as I had to have it.

Same with Vanilla Pepsi.

My favorite thing at Arby's is the Arby-Q, which they will offer for a few months and then take it off the menu for 3-5 years, then bring it back for a few weeks.

And now Orange Pop-Tarts. It's either a curse or an epidemic.

Well, that was Fear's idea, and I thought it best to let him handle it. I could do it, yeah, but that looks a little too self-serving, you know?

"Come and follow me, because I know where to put an apostrophe." It rhymes nicely but it's not particularly messianic. I think some of the female followers had some qualms about the Miley shorts, too.

I may just go recruit some of the emo kids from the mall, because I can write bad poetry just as well as the next guy.

They all do. I think those are automatically issued to every female baby born since 1909.

Fear's still busy with the hoodoo voodoo to create the perfect woman for 19.95 USD. I liked the worship lex thread, but I can't find it in the archives.....frustrated

Admitting it is the first step.

Posting 827,000 times is the second step.

If she reads Lex's posts and still tempts the fates to try and get past his "barriers", he best keep her. Cause most women wouldn't chance it after being told about themselves constantly on his posts. He shoots them down before they even look at his profile to get an interest in him.

At least that is what I have seen anyway, could be wrong ya know. (shrug)

If you get one to chance it Lex, I recommend taking a long hard look before sending her down the river. She has a lot of moxy.flowerforyou

And that really has a lot to do with why I post like I do. I don't want to waste anyone's time, or my own, on some dead-end, no-future blah scenario.

And a lot of them DO look at my profile. I'm guessing they don't read it all the way through, though!

Which is OK. It really shouldn't take more than a few paragraphs for most to realize (assuming they have the cognitive capabilities) that I am not for them.

But the truth is, I do hope someday someone will not only read it, but understand it, and be intrigued enough to drop me a note that's interesting and amusing. And properly spelled.

I really don't see myself as "intimidating" or "complicated," despite all the protestations to the contrary. I just know what I want. Some like to perceive that as "Arrogant Narcissistic Conceited Jerk" behavior, but is it? Is it really?

Or is just someone's own insecurities telling them they don't know how to deal with a person who is up front about what he wants?

In the end, I think it's far more THEIR problem than mine.

I haven't seen you be intimidating nor complicated yet.

Setting up so many barriers that no one can meet them is a self limiting behavior, a defense mechanism.

So again if she gets through your barriers and your posts and reads and contacts you, she will be a woman of moxy and probably worth your time even if she misses the mark on some other level.

Just an observation.

I do read you all time by the way and I have read through your profile as you made it a challenge to do so...lol

I like to challenge myself sometimes.

No offense intended here, so I hope none was taken.

Just what I have noticed.

I know you meant to be sarcastic and cynical on the thread.

If she finds you, she will be a hell of a woman, I can foresee that.

Obviously, you see past the facade. I don't think very many do.

Absolutely. I've never denied that. I've been in so many bad relationships that the very idea of a good one seems preposterous.

So again if she gets through your barriers and your posts and reads and contacts you, she will be a woman of moxy and probably worth your time even if she misses the mark on some other level.

Exactly right again. "Perfection" doesn't exist, as far as I can tell. So I don't expect that.

Just an observation.

I do read you all time by the way and I have read through your profile as you made it a challenge to do so...lol

It really wasn't initially intended to be that way. I wrote some stuff, and then just kept on adding to it, and it grew and grew....

But it's turned out nicely because it eventually started serving a purpose....

Not at all. Forthright communication is the best communication. We need more of this here.

Just what I have noticed.

I know you meant to be sarcastic and cynical on the thread.

That's the interesting part of the facade. I don't think some people see the silliness of the whole thing, and they may take it on face value, which is pretty much an anathema to the underlying reality. So I suppose, in this way, there is a sort of "challenge" being tossed out!

If she finds you, she will be a hell of a woman, I can foresee that.

She will be a hell of a communicator, too.
