I have been 'asked' out on another dating site, the guy seems nice after looking at his profile, but the problem for me is, I am 5'6", and he is only 4' tall!! I would feel so awkward!! What do you think?? Would you guys just 'overlook' the height issue, and 'meet'?? Thanx!

If his height is an issue for you, don't go out with him. You just said you'd feel awkward, and he'd notice that you felt awkward, and then he'd feel awkward. Not very fair to him, you know?
I don't date men I don't find attractive, or who make me uncomfortable, but it's up to you, no one else can really advise you on that. Good luck with whatever you decide. |

I used to date A LOT of women taller than myself, but being only 5'5" that's not difficult. I say go for it, not like your getting married...plus you may have fun! You'll probably get a free dinner out of it anyhow!

Although a few inches shorter would be ok (2-3 inches), this height difference would be a dealbreaker for me. I think if you feel awkward about meeting him due to his height, you'd be wasting your time to go on a date with him, and possibly leading him on by doing so. |

I'm 5'6". Most of the women I've been with have been taller than I am. the tallest was 6'2. I've had some that wanted a relationship, but most would only sleep with me, but wouldn't date me because I was to short. (I don't get it eather) Its all a matter of preferance. make your choice. |

I think for me personally I would most likely just ask him if it is a typo or he didn't click and fill in. I know I am on another site and the beginning ht is really low. |

Don't lose heart. He could have made a typo. You know how the numbers are so close to each other on the keyboard and how easy it is to hit the wrong one. Perhaps he's not 4' but 3'.

This is silly. Of course you should go out with him.
Suppose I started a thread saying I was invited out by a woman and but I don't really want to go because her boobs were too small? He can't do anything about his hight. He may even have a wonderful sense of humor about it. You have the option of going out and having fun or sitting home and posting on this forum. Seems like a simple choice to me. |

Personaly i dont find anything wrong with short people (gnomes). They can fit everywhere !

Myself I'm short but sorry if a guy is that much shorter then me I could not do it. Now if it was a woman that short most guys would not have a problem. Funny how some say they would not have a problem with the height ect, but then they would turn down the women that are full figured or men that are big I find that comical to the least. We all have preference of what we will and will not date.

It is a matter of personal preference, I wouldn't date a guy that shorter than me (I'm 5'6") and I like wearing heels.

u sure he didnt forget to enter in his height? some start at a height if u dont change it it stays... like on here i beleive it is <5ft

But I did talk to a guy on here who told me he was 5'4 I was skeptical Then someone told me he was really as tall as me (5') I happen to like em tall and big SOOOOOOOOO glad it didn't work out Take time and think it out!

When in doubt always ask don't always go on what is within their profile they may have made a mistake. Either that or go and check it out yourself. Heck I met one said he was 5'8 Helllllllllllllloooooooooo we were looking eye to eye and I was not in heels so go figure. Besides ya could always meet them at Starbucks have a cup of coffee at the end of your coffee bid them goodnight not really hard. besides you might enjoy the conversation.
