You're welcome Don and Rainbow. Stay warm Don. I hear it's mighty cold out there. I'm not going to make it to church today. Not up to wandering out in the cold yet. Going to stay wrapped up nice and warm today. Not that cold, anymore. Was working on clearing roofs, lots of "ice dams" on houses here. Weather supposed to warm fast this week & need to clear all frst 2 foot of all roofs. Not to mentoion the gutters, solid ice. One house has 4in of ice, ON top of the gutters. Shoulder is bothering me from all the chopping & pounding. Shook a wine glass off a kitchen counter. More of the same today, so I won't be around long.

OK, now I am running late. Son called, home from his frst. cruise on his submarine. Glad to be back with his family & I am glad to see him where we can talk. A GREAT day.

Spent 6 hrs chopping ice, standing on a ladder. This house has ice 2 ft back from the gutters, 1-2 in just before the gutters, which are frozen also. I got all I could reach w/o somebody holding the ladder. Arranged to borrow a better/longer ladder. Bet the ins. companies in this area get alot of claims, in the next week. Looking at the neighbors house, none of them have started clearing the ice. Big thaw coming this week, wish em good luck. I will be back clearing more ice shortly, take care all & catch you later.

Got some help today, so I will be back up that ladder, very soon. Supposed to get to 32, next 2 days & then we cool off again.

Good morning Everyone.....:-) It's another gorgeous day here in Houston, Texas. A bit of drizzle, but that's ok. At least it isn't ice and snow or cold cold cold. Had a little freeze a few days in a row... froze some pipes, didn't have water for a day. Discovers heater cable, and that saved the day. Now I have water once again. So I'm all smiles. Blowing pleasant wishes to my northern friends... there's no envy here, well wishes for a warming day. Feel the love and the blessings of the day. ciao ciao Cat
