the next generation (as of 2005)

Each of them (except the dog) look like they were bred from sibling brothers and sisters. They don't look quite right.

Interesting, because I think they all look beautiful(hair is a bit long on the boy for my liking, but he is beautiful just the same)

Thank you and yeah, I'm classy like that. I know it's not as classy as doing acid and screwing a sibling and reproducing. I'm not so progressive I guess.

its hard to screw on acid (siblings or otherwise)

“Today's Liberals Are Yesterday's Hippie's.” = “All who disagree with me are jerks. (Kids included.)” It is a perfect example of propaganda that works against itself, unless it’s pronounced in a room full of monomaniacs. It would work in a Nazi convention for example.

AS soon as I get the 'official' definition of a 'liberal'... I will know for sure,, but based on what I found to be the definitions for liberal:

2 a : marked by generosity : openhanded <a liberal giver> b : given or provided in a generous and openhanded way <a liberal meal> c : ample, full
3 obsolete : lacking moral restraint : licentious
4 : not literal or strict : loose <a liberal translation>
5 : broad-minded; especially : not bound by authoritarianism, orthodoxy, or traditional forms

That would be a hippy, I guess

A definition of hippie would be needed for the comparison...

I agree with quiet that there will be as many different ideas of what a hippy or liberal are as there are people you ask,,but I was basing solely on the MERRIAM WEBSTER definitions...here is hippy

a usually young person who rejects the mores of established society (as by dressing unconventionally or favoring communal living) and advocates a nonviolent ethic; broadly : a long-haired unconventionally dressed young person

I think that slightly correlates to definition five of liberal. I basically think of hippy as the other extreme to extremism. When I think of extremist I think those who say everyone should be like me or die. When I think of hippy I think of those who say everyone should just feel free and be themselves and do whatever feels good to them.

Everyone should have the freedom to do what they choose to do for themselves...what works in their life.

I just heard this on TV and it cracked me up....
think there is any truth to this statement?

I don't know. Most of the liberals I know are still a bit too uptight to be considered hippies, I would think.

Not saying that in a bad way. Just not as free minded as hippies were, I think.
