How do you feel about someone who is much smarter than you? Heart trumps smart. In actual intelligence in fields I work in, it's pretty much a mans game and I'm pretty much at the top of that game, with few if any who even come close to keeping up. In that area, she follows and is encouraging and supportive. In matters of the heart, she pretty much owns me and admires as I make the business grow. I don't think I could ask for much more. |

Lots of people say they are looking for someone with brains and someone who is "smart". But, I wonder if many of us, myself included, aren't a little intimidated by someone who is much smarter than we are. How do you feel about someone who is much smarter than you?  To be real,,,IF they our intellectually smarter than me,,,,,,,lol,IT WOULDN'T TAKE MUCH!!!!
No,,,really if they TREAT ME like they our ABOVE ME in a manner of degrading me in words to me, or to others about me,,then their NOT a person I would want or let be around me in life,,in ANY form,,,as to me ANYONE can be a GENUIS,,,yet NOT,,treat others as morons,,,,,its again,,,all about RESPECT of others, and their feelings. THATS ALSO why MANY MANAGERS shouldn't be managers,,,because they have weak skills in expressing their thoughts to others.. and THEY,,talk degrading to them in FRONT of PEOPLE as to SHOW THEIR UNIMPORTANTS and to be-little them in that manner... I see this every-time I stop in a fast-food restaurant,,,, and HAVE TO SEE-IT used and it makes me sick... |

But, I wonder if many of us, myself included, aren't a little intimidated by someone who is much smarter than we are. How do you feel about someone who is much smarter than you? my guy is WAY smarter than me |(even though i can hold my own in jeopardy!) i'm not intimidated by him though, maybe cause i feel i'm intelligent enough, attractive enough, sexy enough, smart aleckly enough that i know i have all of his attention and interest and can, and do, keep him on his toes. i just love listening to him (except when he gets all technical about optic-something-or-other and my eyes start to glaze over). |
