Prove it! Without going to a Republican Blog site.
Here's what I found.

Q.) Why was Michelle Obama disbarred?

A.)She was not disbarred. However, according to the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission (ARDC) of the Supreme Court of Illinois, Mrs. Obama 'is on court ordered inactive status'. We don't know why the court ordered her to inactive status.

From the link below. The ARDC of Illinois web site,

Full Former name(s): Michelle Lavaughn Robinson
Date of Admission as Lawyer
by Illinois Supreme Court: May 12, 1989
Registered Business Address: Not available online

Registered Business Phone: Not available online
Illinois Registration Status: Voluntarily inactive and not authorized to practice law - Last Registered Year: 1993
Malpractice Insurance:
(Current as of date of registration;
consult attorney for further information) No malpractice report required as attorney is on court ordered inactive status.

In 1993, the same year she began working for Public Allies, she applied to change her Illinois registration status for practicing law – only four years after she received her license. It is now listed as "inactive."

James Grogan, deputy administrator and chief counsel for the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois, or ARDC, has been with the commission for 30 years. He told WND that on July 1, 1994, the Illinois Supreme Court entered an order allowing Michelle to be transferred to inactive status pursuant to Illinois Supreme Court rule 770.

The ARDC website explains, "Prior to November 1, 1999, former Supreme Court Rule 770 provided for a proceeding in the Court for any voluntary transfer to inactive status, whether because of some incapacitating condition or solely as a matter of the lawyer's preference because the lawyer would not be practicing law."

Grogan explained, "At the time, the only way to go on inactive status was to do what she did – which was to file a petition in the Illinois Supreme Court."

I'm going to look into if any of her schooling was Gov. Grant money.

I will also see if I can find out what Law she broke to get disbarred.

This ADRC is for discipline reasons...not for those volunteering to stop practicing. It is COURT ORDERED...not "Michelle Obama ordered." Their website is very clear about their function and why they step in.

I would love to know what she did. I believe obummer himself was also disciplined--I know his law license is on "inactive" he lied about never going by any other names when he applied for bar application. He also failed to state any prior drug use...(which he admitted in his books...and he had outstanding tickets that were never paid)."

The main problem with government heathcare is it's a "pie in the sky!" Sure if you poll people and ask "in a perfect world what is your opinion"???? But we don't live in a perfect world and never will! The second thing is people seem to forget that this is America a Republic, not a democracy and our founders knew government needed to be small. Power corupts and absolute power corupts absolutely! I would love for the idea of utopia democrats long for actually worked, but it doesn't so I stay a realist and stick to idea's that actually show results! It's not about right and wrong it's about reality! You can not trust government and you can not trust people to not abuse FREE! But you can never tell a theroist their idea's are wrong because it makes them feel good and that's what it's really about! It doesn't matter too much though because after the democrats fail miserably like they always do we will get some sane legislation again and it will pan out. I just hope this time they fail utterly obvious cause they are very good at shifting blame like the housing crash the democrats engineered!

I went through two acute, major episodes of life- threatening illness caused by a congenital condition. I'm VERY familiar with the healthcare industry and insurance companies. It doesn't get anymore real than that.

I'm probably only alive today because I could get insurance, and therefore treatment, at Johns Hopkins, where they used a surgical technique developed in that awful socialist country, Sweden. It's only because of HIPAA and rules regarding group health plans that I was able to keep insurance that wasn't able to exclude pre-existing conditions. We're not talking about anything FREE here, we're talking about expensive insurance that's better than NO insurance.

HIPAA arguably came about because of the Clinton administration's push to at least get some kind of healthcare reform past, and to their credit, the Republicans participated in the compromise.

Lately, I see nothing but obstructionist tactics from the Republicans. I see a group of people who want to gain back their majority status and feel that ANY success Obama has in the area will threaten that from happening.

BTW, I'll say it again-- I'm registered as an Independent, and I mostly certainly HAVE voted for Republican candidates in the past. I'm sure some will say the moderates I voted for RINOs, but I think about that the same way I think about the practice of wearing a jersey of a sports team to work-- it's strictly lightweight entertainment having NOTHING to do with the business of Life.

I know most of the people that I know that are not rightwingers, want the public option.

The right wingers who backed a trillion dollar war in a country that didn't attack us and had nothing to do with nine eleven and has cost millions of lives which is worth more than any amount of money, are against a public option because it will cost too much??? and it will give our government to much power????

It just doesn't make sense.

I suppose his crime was not coming from a wealthy, politically-connected family that could get his record expunged. Let's not forget the circumstances around GWB losing his driver's license for a DUI in Maine and how angry conservatives were that THAT got reported near election time.

They were not democrats anyway, read your history. Heres a start for ya.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ku_Klux_Klan

How do they kill babies? Not even accurate.

They are religious too just like the right wingers so that is not accurate either.

Crooks come in every shape and form, there is no certain type to make a prejudgement of a criminal.

The public option will probably be run like Medicare is now. The government pays but the Blue Cross and Blue Shield run the healthcare part of it. The government is no "running" healthcare now and it will be the same with the public option. They will pay the healthcare organizations to give care to those who cannot afford the premiums that is all it will end up being.

All the red tape is just all those intricate details of what will be covered under what circumstances how and why. It take alot of gobbly gook to get that all covered. But he government will still not be running the healthcare, they will just be paying for it.

I am absolutely sure you know, when you say Gov. pays this and that, it is our, the Taxpayers where Gov. gets that money from. Except what they get from the Commies.

Let me see, Gov. wants us to fund this health care and also pay extra for premiums so we can get what we are already paying for. slaphead slaphead Sounds like double-dipping and they won't say how much those "modest" premiums will be.slaphead slaphead

I held my nose while voting since I was 18.....I am an extreme right wing person! I don't defend these democrats called republicans or socialists called democrats! I vote republican just because they are the lesser evil in my opinion. But I don't beleive in any government intrusion, none at all! Zero, zilch, nada! I am against the public school system completely that's how right wing i am! I would completely shut down the entire lot and cut taxes by at least 50% and work toward 75% within ten years! I don't beleive in social security, welfare, unemployment absolutely none of it! I want complete freedom of government intrusion and live and die by my own accord and don't like people preaching to me how i need to flip the bill for them to go to the doctor or go to school or get fed or get a job!

Societies are more like pendulums than rocks. Even rocks get worn down by the flow of water over them over time, so they aren't immune to rules, either.

Stuff happens. And because of that stuff and the far rightwing ideology's lack of credible plans to deal with the unexpected, our society in particular evolved the way it has for some very good reasons, many of which are classic examples of the Prisoner's Dilemma.

Just be glad you live in a society that welcomes dissent, even if doesn't always heed its 'warnings'-- especially when it cries "Wolf!" way too often.

except that we are not like any one of those nations. yeah, we're close to canada, but we still live different lifestyles and have far different structure. We develop far more technologies and medications. We perform far more complex procedures and develop far more new procedures.

Apples and oranges. Other nations cannot be used to prove it will work or that it won't work. All comparisons must be "all else equal" to be valid... that will never happen in this case.

Also, check out who is #1 on the quality of care. us. if you take distribution out, we're the best in the world. That's just fine with me.

Also, gallup is still showing 49% against, 44% for. so... how can most want the public option if the majority doesn't even want the bill?

Lastly, you flag the government as so great citing the military, social security, and the military...

Do you realize that the military goes over budget every year, Social Security has not had any liquiid capital for many years (basically bankrupt with a lot of assets), and the post office hasn't been in the black this century. Sounds like they're great at this whole money thing.
Oh please Andrew we are ranked like 37 in terms of care in the world scroll up a few. Social security isnt broke we are just going to draw it down from the build up of for the baby boomers, basicly it will spend more than it will be takeing in but it was set up that way to accomodate the boomers. It will level off. and also money was borrowed to fund wars and pay halliburton bills and they do not want to pay it back. Heading out for the day see ya around.

Swing and a miss...

If you can't comprehend what I posted, it's not my fault. We have the highest level of healthcare in the world. Just because the distribution isn't as good does not mean that I can't receive the highest quality of care here.

Social security never turns a profit. What you have is a whole lot of IOUs and no cash. I know you haven't the slightest clue about finance so I'm not going to explain how this works again.
swing and miss? I provided proof fron non biased sources let me recap eh? We are ranked 37 in care by the World Health organazation yet you say we are number one. no, you proved nothing as usual. you regurgitated information like a good little boy and didn't bother to read the data...again.

Look at the column titled "responsiveness." As a whole, that level for the US is #1. That means we have the best designed system implemented for medical response (dignity, autonomy, confidentiality, communication, prompt attention, access to social support networks during care, quality of basic amenities, and choice of provider are the different sections judged). that is more important to me than everyone having healthcare. I'd rather know that when something has to be done that it can be done.

So because healthcare is not 100% distributed, we lost points on the test. Try reading what you post sometime and don't just give a list of numbers.

If you'd like more info at why our health sucks, read up a few pages to my response to Fanta. Health in america is not a failure of the system, it is a failure in all of us.
