ummm was my plan to get divorced? Cuz if I'm married, just simply telling me I can't get a divorce wouldn't affect me. I plan on staying married.

Thank You. what if the the woman had been abused in the marriage, if the law wouldnt let the woman divorce then im sure she would have every right to leave or would the law allow her to kill the freaken jurk i would not stay in a marriage if that occured... i kicked my ex to the dang curb for he was cheating... i put up with his crap for 2yrs. so if the law had said i was not allowed to divorce him.. heck he would be dead. im serious

There is a few things that would probably happen
Divorce rates would go down Murder rates would go up People might try harder on marriages...but most likely People would still get 'divorced' in their mind live in seperate houses and see other people Marriage wouldn't mean anything and respect for it would go down |

Common now you all would not be that cruel. There should be better things that both of you could work out instead of trying to kill each other. I read in a California paper that California might be thing about passing a law stating that if you are married that you will not be able to get a divorce. I do not know if it will pass.

Hahaha... the Catholic's have found a way around divorce... it's called annulment.
