Mark of the Beast. It's Literal. St.John didn't see it in a dream. He was a witness to the events that would take place in a future in which we are now living. He was taken in Spirit and was showed all the things that are spelled out in Revelation. Firstly, it's not John's Revelation as it is written in almost all the Bibles. It's the revelation of Jesus Christ of the things that will come to pass shortly (actually the exact translation is suddenly and not shortly). The sequence of events, as many believe, will not occur in the order that they're appearing in the Revelation i.e., events in Rev.17 may occur first followed by events spellec out in Rev.14 and vice-versa. Only with the help of the Holy Spirit can we able to comprehend not just Revelation but the entire Bible. The first mark was a literal mark which was given to Kane by the Lord after he murdered his brother. The Levite priests had tied around their foreheads the Words "Holy to the Lord" inscribed in Gold Tapestry which was a kind of Mark. The Angels of the Lord mark the servants of the Lord in the end times to protect them against evil. History repeats itself. The Lord will mark his followers so will the god of this world. But this mark will carry with it the fierce rage of God for whosoever accepts it will be thrown into the lake of fire in the afterlife. The mark is not metaphorical, it's real, it's arrived and will sooner or later confront us. It's just a question of when. Mostly it'll be of a Verichip kind since it has an RF Transciever and can function perpetually powered by the electric current passing through a kind of vein which is found only in the right hand and forehead. It can send as well as receive information and that'll be the means of controlling the masses. Nothing in the Bible is in there by accident but it is by intelligent design far beyond what our fallible human minds can comprehend. But the Holy Spirit is the revealer of God's Word. So take the help of the Holy Spirit in reading the Bible. He'll bring to light several verses and their meanings which were hitherto unknown or had missed our understanding. THE MARK IS REAL, WE MUST NOT TAKE IT. But first it'll creep into the Society and will become an indispensable tool just as electricity is right now. We must be also alert in our spirit and must use discernment to recognize the mark, in whatever form it may come. We can only be beheaded for not taking the Mark. But there's one thing to be happy about. We have the rest of eternity spread out before us and Jesus Christ Standing at the Gates of Heaven with His arms wide open ready to wipe our tears as we come out of the Great Tribulation into His Arms. In Him Madhusudhan.S Holy to Yahweh was on the High Priests forehead 1 time a year when he entered the Holy of Holies.. That is not a mark it was required of the High priest on the Day of Atonement which is still considered the Holiest day of the year. Cains mark.. That was phsical or metebiloical that he beknown thoughout the land for his evil deeds.. He even asked that he be protected from slaughter which was granted. The 666 speaks of what is considered Holy Today hand has been around for a long time. The churches refusing the commandments not to worship anything that is of this world is being by thier actions by billions. We or all most everyone can not understand nor do they want to understand what this commandment means and how they openly defy it. 666 is speaking of the 3 men in Revelation who convinces the world this is Holy to Yahweh as the Holy to Yahweh was to the high priest. But it is not it is an abomination to Yahweh as we see Aarons 2 sons being struck dead by offering strange fire. The tongue is like fire that spreads falsehoods very fast. The cloven tongues of a miracle was speaking the wonderful works of Yahweh and those who had ears to hear heard it. The Mark could very well be what chr-stian use to identify who they worship and to let other know this to.. It is everywhere you go.. It could very well be the CROSS.....Shalom..Miles

OK, I'm not a Christian, but I do believe that every religion, including Christianity, has accurate, if figurative, "end times" prophecies. We do have the technology to have the mark of the beast. Every time you get your pets chipped, you are utilizing this technology. Every time that you use a credit card, debit card, registered savings or perks card in your name, social security number, state issued ID card, get a drivers license, or get or use any technology or system that uses numbers or computers to catalog living beings, you are participating in the rise of the mark of the beast. All of us being on-line right now is contributing to it. Eventually, everything that can be used to track people's movements, habits, buying trends, and everything will be accessible through a massive mainframe system. More than one religion has foretold this, and other prophecies. The mark of the beast is any number that catalogs or tracks people and their property, and it is almost impossible to live in modern society without contributing to or utilizing the mark.

We are willing to give the govt. of the world thier names and where abouts because we have been taught this is the best thing to do. Open descrimination. If we thought descrimiination was bad before the civil rights act that will be nothing. Look at how Hitler got the whole country to turn against the Jews. To turn them in was thier civil dutie and for a jew to go and try and buy and sell outside themselves it could be thier death. This was a prelude to what we will see..
