Pff... biological imperative? I'm told that they're worth it if you find the right person.

A lot of my friends, the ones who do very badly with relationships, behave like binge drinkers; they get carried away, go over the top and wake up in the morning feeling like death, covered in bruises and cuts and vowing to never drink again.

And then they drink too much again.

And then they wonder why they're health's gone to soddery.

It works if you can relax and take things in reasonable moderation, otherwise you're just in for a headache and too many regrets.

My self I enjoy being in one just like most do when they are going good.

But then at times I sit back and watch some and wonder why in the hell they are in one by what I have seen.

Because LOVE in a relationship has gotta be the best feeling of all. That butterfly feeling you get everytime you see them and hear their voice. The fact that you can't get them out of your head...It truly is the greatest. It's different than family love its unconditional; its you and them against the world...thats why you should be in a relationship.

Why be in a relationship, for the very simple reason that above all else you enjoy the company of that specific person. Yes some people may say the sex, the romance, and all the other things; but the one best reason that can lead to a lasting relationship is to just enjoy each other. Have common interest; or if you don't find things to talk about, your partner should be more than just that, she/he should be your best friend too. Hopefully the relationship will lead to marriage and kids, but if not just enjoy each other; that's really all that is needed. This is my view and from most of the ones based on this principle that i have seen, it works.

Not sure..depends on what kind of relationship.

You can have a sexual relationship for adventure and fun..this can also be addictive in nature.

You can have the romantic relationship with candles, flowers and poems..this can also just be infatuation.

Neither one of these seem to last long..

Then you can have a serious relationship with someone that cares deeply and passionately for you and makes your life more positive and gives it meaning.

Now, if i could find all of that wrapped up in a package that would be the ideal relationship..lol...

Because if its the right person, its similar to hitting the jackpot and who doesnt wanna win? It improves life to have a partner by your side and if you have children it also is shown to improve theirs to see that example and have that foundation...
