To get married to spend the rest of your life with the one you love.

Not to get married - enjoying your freedom.

Prove something to people, only valid reason I see for marriage...and even then it isn't all that valid.

More than 50% marriages end within the first five years, the cost of the divorce usually far outweighs the cost of the marriage, typically kids that are involved blame themselves when the marriage ends in divorce which in turn tends to screw up the kid later on down the road (NOT ALWAYS, but usually), the stigma of a divorced person is a difficult one to shake as well as being a widow (statistically).

I've plenty more, but rather not write that much right now...I just woke up.

To get married, to provide stability for children and to spend a lifetime with a best friend that consists of order and loyalty to someone beside self.

To not get married, save money, be able to live selfishly for just oneself.

First, before the marriage you are two people. After the wedding, you are STILL those same two people. So what's the big deal? A piece of paper and a ring doesn't change who you are. If you are good together, what's the point?

Second, that piece of paper is nothing more than a permission slip for a woman to take half your shite when she gets tired of dealing with you.

Your chances of being with someone forever are no higher when you aren't married than if you get married.

You can do exactly that without the wedding.

thats assuming the man had stuff to begin with and the woman didn't help financially alot of assumptioms

Depends on your belief as well.

To get married to your best friend for love...to be willing to work on and be completely committed to a relationship. Spiritually, emotionally, and physically. If you are taking religion into it as well to be in the 'right' eyes with God and to not be living in sin. That is some of the reasons



Some of the no's include, being able to know you have your freedom, to not worry about divorce or the financial/emotional effects of it...you know the saying 'stay out of the fire' so to speak.

Whatever. No matter how little the dude had...and even if she did exactly f*** all...she's still gonna get half. Oh. And she'll be getting the house AND the kids as well.
