 I thought it might have been some sort of rightwing group coup attempt my first thought was some anit-military liberal. That would be a more realistic thought. |

That's a very good question Peledac, and unfortunately I can tell you why they are able to do so. it is because the soldiers are deployed for so long, and live in such horrid conditions ( most of the time encessary during a deployment), and see such emotionally disturbing scenes, that they need decomp time at least equal to the amount of time they spent deployed, and they do not get it. Soldiers are refused Mental health treatment at the best of times, and made to feel inferior and childish if they seek it on their own.
I have WATCHED this happen, over and over again, watched my ex-wife go throguh the process herself to just be denied proper medical treatment. It is a terrible tragedy that CAN be, if not averted, then at least decreased in a major way. genreal just confremed that the gunmen were miltary \ Yes I heard that!! Nail them to the wall! How can a soldier turn his back on his fellow soldier? Looking into the eyes of your comrade and kill him/her is despicable. Trust is going to be a huge issue here. What a terrible tragedy, so many lives destroyed.  |

It only goes to show that our military need to be taken care of, not just while there are at war. If anyone needs to be taken care of it is our military that go above and beyond what any one of us have ever or ever will go through.

How? wouldn't expect you to understand.  But that doesn't matter now does it, what matters is some lives have been taken. We need to take care of our soldiers, I'm talking emotionally and physically, what they go through, they need it more than some civilians need it.

My sympathy to the families who were affected by this senseless act.
Any death is a tragedy no matter what side you are on, there is always family and love ones that will have to live with the loss of those soldiers. I hate violence in all it's form, arms do not solve wars it only makes life a misery for the survivors. War is death, you make war you have to live with the consequence. Train people to kill without asking question and then wonder after why they killed. |

She already called Beau to tell him that they both were okay......
