Hi all. It's been a little while so I thought I'd share. Realized recently I hadn't dealt well with my separation and divorce. Decided to stop hiding from it and deal. So, I'm trying to fight through the swirl of emotion and a good friend told me that this is my opportunity to be the woman I want to be.

I have started taking classess in random things I might enjoy. Looking for volunteering opportunities. Just trying to find me, I guess.

So, have you ever thought about the person you want to be and how you would achieve it? While I expect the "Brad Pitt and Megan Fox" answers, you get extra points for being honest.

I'm happy you have decided to work through it, it may take some time, but it's well worth it, trust me

I want to be financially sucessful and happy. I have no idea how to acheive the first one, but I'm working on it.

don't know who or what i want to be except by knowing who or what i don't want to be.

i just try to be a good man. but i don't go out of my way by volunteering or anything. i try to have patience and treat the people i interact with decently.

there are too many things that i don't want to be to even begin to list them.

Chrissy, I was in a very abusive relationship for 6 years.

Once I left, I did all kinds of things. I got involved with Women Shelters, volunteered at homeless shelters, and Habitat For Humanity.
It really helped me to find who I use to be. It also took 8 years of self evaluation to get to where I am now.
