| Topic: 6yr old trapped in balloon thousands of feet in the air | |

First off, i'd like to say, that i hope the boy is found safe. I removed a few posts here, and i want to explain something. When you see a thread like this, and you know emotions are high, especially concerning the possible death of a child, then it should be common sense, not to infuriate folks with jokes. Now, i don't want you guys to take that the wrong way, i want you all to have fun, and enjoy your experience here, but i do want you all to be respectful of others. Thank you

I dunno which kid it is It was the middle child in the picture, they just said on Prime News on Tv that there was a box attached to the bottom of this balloon that was not meant for anyone to ride in it. The oldest son said he saw the little one climb inside. After it landed the box was not there that the boy was assumed to have climbed in too. Which they said would not have taken that much weight. This was made for weather purposes only. It has not been explained how it got untied as well. They just said the Balloon traveled 75 miles but they have no idea where this box fell off at all but hoping it fell off shortly after taking off. One of the main reason I'm sure the media got involved was due to the issue of a kid being in it. And that it was going into the airspace as well. As of yet he has not been found.... |

I just hope and pray that the boy is safe,I just wish that the news would get the facts,all the facts first before reporting it and getting everyone upset.I for one I'm getting very nervous here.

Well I don't blame them for getting it out as an unfolding story. It will help if the public spots anything. I just worry how much daylight they have left.

I'm watching Prime News they are saying now that a Police Officer saw something fall from the area of the balloon if this is the case they will limit their search to that area hoping they will find the boy for they have searched the home and neighborhood and have not found him therefore it looks like he did climb into the box.
The father and his kids were very involved in these things for a while so it is not something these kids have not been around and taught the safety of being around these things. But it really seems that someone else had to have untied the Balloon for this to have happened.

Between the CNN reports and Channel 7 news in Colorado. It appears the object that feel from the balloon was a battery box. There was no breach in the basket so the police are presently assuming the boy was never in the box though continuing the search just in case.
