Spider I respect your thoughtful interpretation and I appreciate the
sentiments. Thank you. If only more saw roles as being different and
not as less or more than...just different.

You are actually agreeing with me on all but one point and we actually
agree on that point, I wasn't clear enough in my first post.

ArtGurl,

Thank you! That's actually what I was getting at, but you are far more
pithy than I.

If a man need to 'correct' his woman then he must not have chosen
wisely.

Or she choose a jerk.

AB remember when we had this conversation on that other site? It got
nasty. This has been quite reasonable tonight.

I had copied my posts from those conversations, and saved them.
I have more.

Oh, and thank you.

AdventureBegins,

Nobody is always right. Both women and men are sometimes blinded by
this world or their own emotions and make bad decisions. The greatest
thing in the world is for a couple to work as advisors and mentors to
each other. Always out of love and with a desire to please the other
and help them to do right in the eyes of the Lord.

i know this is a sensitive topic...and i feel you've handled it
beautifully.

i know my place...it's head of my house-hold. i've always made all the
final decisions...i believe that each family dynamic is different...and
each person's position should be decided by capabilities, and not by
gender.

Hi Lori!!! I haven't seen you in a coons age! Good to see ya.

I, like you; have been the one that has made most of the decisions as
well. But in an relationship, I am all for discussing the issues at hand
and coming to a mutual conclusion.

i'm all for discussion, and even compromise...but in the end, i'll still
do what i feel is right. my integrity is more important to me than
ANYthing.

my ex wasn't fit to make those decisions...he kept me from being TOO
serious, and i kept him from being too much of a slacker...it worked
well.

Perhaps I have spoken a bit harshly about correction.

Let me put it a different way.

When dancing one does not 'correct' their partner through the dance one
'guides' their partner that both might enjoy the dance.

jus my lil ol thought on the corection bit AB..a good man will guide a
not so good man will correct how he sees fit, using harsh words or even
fists...just me experience speaking

CCB one day you will meet a good man.

And when he startles you by reaching for you and you duck away from
experiance he will gently caress you back into the dance as many times
as needed till you no longer remember the fist.

Great job spider I'm happy for you haha :) One of your post has less
drama and has a great message of respect.

There's actually irony because by the title I thought you were going to
let women have it but by knowing your character I had doubt. Then when I
read it through I was like "I knew it, he such a sweet guy"
