cool bro.

What kind of business you looking to get into? (if I may ask)

Hell, the cat I rescued/adopted has been dead for over 120 years....I just take a different approach on things...

Fluffy died a lonely death but, now hangs out with the cool people and never lacks for attention so it is just a matter of perspective.

After all....everything dies...what is important is that everything gets some love.

i want to open a little hotdog cart type business. mobile catering or whatever it's called. but not selling hotdogs. instead i'd be selling latinamerican/caribbean creole. arepas, cachapas, pabellon(ropa vieja), platano frito, yuca frita, quesillo(flan), sandwich cubano, lechon, tostones, teque~nos, and most importantly CHICHA!! i loooooooooooooove chicha! venezuelan rice drink not unlike but completely dissimilar to horchata. chicha is made with cooked rice, horchata is made with ground rice powder. but ennywei, sorry, off topic.

going to rescue as many kitteh cats as i possibly can with the money i earn from this business. try and establish a cat sanctuary, and try to have some of the cats with me during the day so people who come and buy food can also check out the kitteh cats that are up for adoption. get as many cats into loving homes as possible. i think cats are wonderful companions. they are truly loving creatures, just as are dogs. obviously they are very different from dogs, but i think they are wonderful. dogs are cool too. so yeah, i figure with an adorable little kitteh cat present, people will be hard pressed to refuse leaving behind their change as a donation to help care for such a sweet and loving little animal. cats are soooooo cute! that's my plan. now it's just a matter of implementing it. i think i feel for cats, especially my cats, the way i hear people talk about their children. i wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice myself for the well-being of these littls animals who look to me for sustenance, shelter and love. for sure i give them all the love in the world i can possibly give them.

I got zero clue what any of those food you named off are...except for horchata and flan....the palleterias out here are old school mexico stuff...they are AWESOME! I love ethnic foods! ...well, I ain't so crazy about it when I order something I can't pronounce and it has tripas in it....I just can't do it man.

So...this is my cat....Fluffy.....

(Brace yourself)

Long story behind Fluffy but, I swear...after people get over the shock thing...everyone thinks the cat is really cool.

yeah i can't look at that. i'm sure fluffy is really cool n all, but the look on the cat's face looks like one of fear or pain. maybe that's just me, i dunno. i can't stand to think of animal suffering and with an expression like that frozen...

ennywei, no tripas in any of the food i mentioned, i don't eat that nasty mess either.

Thank God! Tripas is wretched.

Like I said....Fluffy had it tough when it came time to go.....I figured after more than 120+ years in solitary confinement....I couldn't bring myself to just throw him away. (poor thing had more bad karma than any of us deserve) So...I took him to my familys paint n body shop...clear coated him.... and now he hangs out on a shelf. Watching tv...listening to music....chilling with the dogs....his life may have sucked but, his afterlife is pretty sweet!

I just take a different perspective on alot of things. My heart is in the right place......(you know, in a shoe box out in the shed)

I am so moved I can't tell you how much. I also have 'The Thing" in me that hurts sometimes for animals. It's almost a curse but we have it to be advocates for little animals who can't speak for themselves and can't pay you back. I try to be reasonable about trying to take on every sick, sad, neglected, abused animal but it's hard. I often hear, "You can imagine if it was your child!" I resent that and I don't try to explain it to them because they don't have The Thing in them. You are an unsung hero in my eyes for even considering your enterprise. There's something so endearing about a man who is sensitive enough to give a damn about a little kitty or doggie. I will devote one of my near future garage sales to your cause. Best of luck to you.

I have to tell this. I had a peach colored Burmese cat for 14 years named Pinkerton. He was so special and back then I used to let my cats run in and out of the house. One day a neighbor shot Pinky with a pellet gun on purpose. Pinky came home with his leg shattered and he had to have pins put in it and a huge cast thing on his leg. I bought a playpen and put it up in the windowseat so he could look out the window. My other cats sat outside of the playpen to be near him. Pinky got better and began riding with me on my bicycle in a basket on the front. No leash and he loved it. The wind bothered his eyes so I got some doll sunglasses and he wore them! People ran into things when they saw us coming down the street. But diabetes took him over and I had to repay Pinkerton's love and devotion to me by euthanizing him. He understood.

any neighbor shot an animal of mine, and even made so much as a red mark on them i'd wrap that pellet gun around their head and break their trigger finger in several places. truth is, that neighbor would be lucky to be able to chew their own food if i found out they did something like that. and i don't care if that neighbor happened to be a seven year old kid. boy girl, i don't care. and heaven help the motorist i see run over an animal and not stop to render aid. HEAVEN help them, cos the paramedics won't be able to in time.

i love kitteh cats. but i'm sad today because the other nite my one roasty toasty marshmallow kitteh luke skywalker ran off and he hasn't been back to the house in over 24 hours. he never stays gone this long. and it's raining outside and has been for maybe the last 16 hours or so.

i'm sorry i don't mean to bring the mood of this topic down, i jes needed to say it i guess. i really miss my cat. i love him very much. the other two cats miss him also. hopefully he turns up after the rain abates.

I'm so sorry..our cat did that once and i was soo worried...he may come back ..maybe just hiding someone dry from the rain....if he doesnt return post an ad in the paper and watch the ads..maybe someone will post one if they found him.....does he have a collar?

Well....let's brighten things up abit before things progress to head busting of motorists and d***head neighbors....

Every dog I have ever had has been rescued in one form or another.....

My current b%&ches....are....

Black Betty....Black lab/German Shepard/pit bull of lovey....

she's the one looking up.
Found her starved and she never got over the starved dog syndrom....she eats like she ain't fed in months. But, when it comes to lovey.....her pit bull side kicks in and she WILL love on ya...whether you want it or not.

Chatka on the other hand....

was pulled from the pound the day before Christmas on her D-day. Took 2 full years before she would really let me rub her. She is very much a dainty and demure lady. I swear, she will not sit but, courtseys instead (that is what she is doing in the picture.)

Chiquita came and went pretty quick....she was a starved lil pup trying to jump up on my forklift at work trying to claim me as her own... (though she was so weak she could barely stand)

But, after about 2 months...a good friend got a seperation and was lonely so I gave her Chiquita and they are living happily ever after.

The one really quirky thing about my dogs....they react to a camera like I am holding a gun to thier head....pee on themselves terrified.....I literally gotta hold it where it don't look like I am aiming it at them. Go figure....

Anyhoo....they are my lovey girls. Everyday they make me smile. Glad that I got someone to love me...ya know?

no he didn't have on a collar. the collar he used to have he was very adept at removing it and losing it so he wouldn't have to wear it. it was one of those snap away types, so after a while we got tired of replacing those collars, they aren't cheap and let 'em run free, they would normally just stay out a couple hours tops and then be back at the door waiting to come back inside. luke ran off in the middle of the nite and probably went lookin for some cat to fight. he's been getting in fights lately, dunno why. but ennywei, if he comes back to us, he'll be getting a permanent collar with a belt type closure versus the snap type. and we're planning on canvasing the neighborhoods nearby w/flyers that have contact information. i miss my marshmallow. so do the other cats. especially darth vader. those two are buddies.
