I have been here for just about two years. I went out with one woman that was on this site.

I don't consider it a waste of time ( although I have had a few moments when I began to think that way ) and at the very least, I have made a few friends here.

This place is waaaaaaaaaaay more fun than getting all caught up in finding the right one and then going through the roller coaster ride that is a relationship. Just have fun and get to know some of the really great ppl on here. Very entertaining, to say the least.

it doesnt actually take much to be worth free does it?

It all depends on what your here for. I use to come to this site to see if i could get lucky and meet someone i was interested in 3 years ago. Now i come here to chat with some friends once in a while.

I joined the site to try to find someone, what i found after about 100 posts is a group of people who are fun to converse with. I have found a support system when i was feeling low, people who share similar thoughts and those that give me a different point of view on issues. I have made friends, and even those that rub me the wrong way are still respected because i found that we all have opinions and preferences and beliefs. Dip your foot in the water before you say its cold. If you stay, see how you feel after you have posted 100 times. At 400 i took a little break, but now i am back and maybe i will make more friends now.

ive been on this site for about 2 years and i have met some wonderful site and this site is much more better then a lame pay site and much more addicting!

It sounds like what you and "munchiebellic" are saying is... that this site is great to make friends and talk to cool people on the forums, but you're not likely to meet your soul mate and start dating them.

That's sorta the impression I'm getting too. Then again, I don't know of any dating sites that are better either. I'm kinda new to this.

Lots of people date from here. Some have gotten married and some are going to be married soon.
