I really was not sure what forum to post this on so I decided to put under gerneral. I am Chritian man and lately have been feeling a little wild and daring. In the restaurant last night I had a thought again about getting body art done. I would like to hear everyones thoughts about body art. What insired what you already have and what do they mean to you. What are the ladies thoughts about sexy masculin body art. I have a adventures background from serving the Navy on a carrier for 4 years, a Chev. Master Technitian for 7 years and 9 years as a local and over the road truck driver. I was thinking about have some really neat life experience art done. Just want to hear your stories and opinions. Have fun with this one (After I fallow through with this master piece I have been thinking about posting the work also what do think??) If someone loaned you their car, and you brought it back to them with grafitti sprayed on it, wouldn't they be just a bit PO-ed? I doubt anyone will go to Hell for a tattoo, but it isn't YOUR body now, IS IT? I don't mean to sound "holier than thou"...I'm certainly not perfect...just check out my posts. But your body isn't yours. Maybe you shouldn't spray grafitti on it. Did I read that correctly? You think we DO NOT own our bodies? Yes, my body is my own -- and no one tells me what to do with my body. I hope people have enough sense to feel the same about their bodies. Who the hell do you think owns yours? Keep in mind not everyone believes in god and antiquated theology. I believe in God and I can say this... there is no sin greater than another sin, but one will send you to hell... and that's not accepting Christ as your savior and asking forgiveness of your sins. However, that's the way I believe and I'm not pushing it on anybody. As far as tattoos, yeah, they are a sin. I've got em and I have piercings too. But, those are the least of my flaws in God's eyes. My body is mine, my soul belongs to God! If I don't believe in god -- which is my right -- then you can't put your beliefs on me. We don't believe in the same thing, silly. I know that, I wasn't pushing my beliefs on you. I was just simply stating my comment to the person who posted above you and to back up the fact that a person's body is their own. As well as, backing up your comment.

Got a tat in jail many years ago--- I'm 60 and it looks like a black turd on my leg--They change with time people>>> Quality ink, and design, plus certifications will keep tattoos from being what you describe. Yes, tattooing has changed, and they age much better if done correctly. No offense but why would you get a tattoo in jail? Well, why go to jail in the first place? That's a place to avoid! I did a dumb thing and was paying for it---The tat was just --Being like the rest of us kind of thing. I could handle myself ok but you still want to be one of the guy's-- even in jail. Hard thing to explain i think. There are few individuals in a place like that!

I am working on a tattoo that'll kinda makes my arm's look like colossus's from X-Men...lol.

well I hope I did not start a big off topic discusion over the existance of God. It was not my intention. I was tring to get everyones differing opinions about tats and what kinds they may already have. thank you so much to those who have put effort into showing me some beautiful and talented artwork

I think that getting a tattoo should be something unique And it wouldn't matter what it is as long as you like it After all it's going to be on you not on someone elses I'm planning on getting more :) And as long as i like them I can care less what anybody thinks
