Topic: How many think 2012 is the end of the world? | |

End of the world? No more than the year 2000 created a worldwide computer meltdown ...
Some Sanskrit writings do talk about a part of the brain turning on ... so maybe just an end of the world as we 'saw' it ... |

If the Mayans said it, then it must be true

It will be the end of the world for some people for they believe it to be when they personally pass away of old age, hunger, disease, or bad luck.
In the end 2012 will be a great year for everyone. For some a new beginning of life, for others a new house bought, and for many a year of celeberations like we always enjoy. Enjoy the "now" of life and spread positive energy to everyone you know. It is the only way to go to spread peace and happiness. Good luck Minglers |

I doubt it.
However, what troubles me is that such a movie (seen the horrific trailers?) is being released just before Christmas, at a time in our nations' history where everyone is ALREADY terrified by the economic meltdown, a new, inexperienced president, HEALTHCARE REFORM with all the unsettling rumors, terrorism, etc. Will this further affect consumer confidence psychologically and on a subconscious level, so there will be less cash registers ringing for the holidays? We sure as he** don't need that! |

We sure as he** don't need that! its just a movie. a movie i cannot wait to see. a movie that isn't even based on the original calendar. they have taken the apocolypse and mixed it with the calendar based on 52. hence 2012. its too long to explain but really they just took the end year of a calendar and threw in the apocolypse. no biggie. no stress. once again.. its just a movie. |

Anyone can end the world, as they see it....today....simply by changing their mindset.

The world will not end until the sun burns out or a mammoth comet or asteroid hits earth.

we're due for a polar shift.....if this happens, earthquakes and volcanos will erupt. depending on how many, tells what the fall-out might be. if it blots out the sun for ten years, and kills all the plants.............you do the math.
personally i hope nothing happens. nothing is ever for sure....nothing.......a lot of people are pretty sure on this thread it seems. none of it matters really though. if it happens, there's nothing we can really do about it..............but watch |
