Yes one cup of that please James. How wonderful it would be if we all where neighbors and could enjoy tea and biscuits together talking about philosophy, magick, fantasy, nature, or anything that will raise a eyebrow.

I also enjoy apple cinnamon tea by the way!

Monet's Waterlilies
by Robert Hayden

Today as the news from Selma and Saigon

poisons the air like fallout,

I come again to see

the serene, great picture that I love.

Here space and time exist in light

the eye like the eye of faith believes.

The seen, the known

dissolve in iridescence, become

illusive flesh of light

that was not, was, forever is.

O light beheld as through refracting tears.

Here is the aura of that world

each of us has lost.

Here is the shadow of its joy.

This is what I do everyday once in the morning but really early at 6 am the water is warm all year round and once in the late evening!

At full moon the earth spirits come out to play the drums, sing, and dance. It is a great way to be with humble people.

but I usually always float on my back in the waters staring at the sky wondering about what is beyond.

If any of you sisters or brothers ever come to Miami, I create a wonderful pina colada with a dark myers rum floater and the freshest pineapple slice one can ever ask for. flowerforyou

Those who don't feel this love pulling them like a river
Those who don't drink dawn like a a cup of spring water
Or take it in the sunset like supper
Those who don't want to change... let them sleep.

Wow!

I would love to be able to paint like that!

I have so many images in my mind that I would love to share with the rest of the world, but I have no way of getting them out of my mind onto a canvass.

That's the frustration of nothing being able to share.

I'm sure a lot of people are like me and have images and thoughts in their minds that they have absolutely no way to share with other people.

To me that's one of the most frustrating things of all. Not being able to share simply because we have no way to get it out of our own mind into the minds of others.

Abra..

We all come to this Earth Walk with gifts...Some have the hand to hold a paint brush while others hold a chisel...Some were born to hold the hand of another in need while others are given the Gift of music...And then there are the few that are gifted with the Pen...The ability to write and paint pictures with their words...A storyteller, a bard...One that is in tune with the Universe and is able to write for "us" what is already written in the Winds and in the Stars...

I have read many things what you have written, for a long while now and often times I have been sent to my Ponder's Meadow to think about what it was you had written...Ponder, reflect, gather and try to apply....

How I wish at times that I carried the Gift that you do...

So use the gift of Words to paint the images that you see with in your mind...For a person need not be limited to the paints to show how the dew glimmers in the morning light upon the Spider's web...flowerforyou

Thank you EarthSprite,

I didn't mean to imply what I was depressed about it. I just find it to be one of the more frustrating things in life.

But yes, you're right I do have abilities in other areas and I try to use those as much as I can. I do feel very gifted with respect to some of the songs that came through me. It felt good to be the vehicle of what was ultimately the inspiration of other people flowing through me.

I have to share the following song with you.

This came from a poem that a fellow named Bill posted in the poetry section.

He wrote the poem, and when I read the poem I was moved. I picked up my banjo and started playing. The music just came from 'nowhere'. Completely out of the blue.

This recording was made within 5 minute of having first read his poem.

I played first just totally intuitively "out of nowhere". The rest of the time was just setting up to record it.

I'd didn't write the lyrics to this song. And I really didn't "write" the music either. The music came from the cosmos. It just flowed through me.

Here's the Lyrics with chords in the graphic below:

This just happened. Like instantly. This song just grabbed me like the spirit of a ghost. Even that little note run at the beginning just came out of nowhere. Like as if someone else was using my hands to play the banjo.

So, yes, like you say, we're all blessed in all different ways all the time.

Beautiful artwork, poems, kind souls greeting each other, and now music. This is probably the most kind hearted and beautiful thread on Mingle2.

Congratulations on making your new home beautiful brothers and sisters. drinker

Never for one moment did I think that you were depressed about this....flowerforyou

And I do understand about being frustrated as I would love to be able to write as you and some others here, have the gift to express what I so want to say...My creativity comes with the use of my hands, be it carving or sculpting, so in a way, these things are my words....They speak for me....

And it hits me at any given time...I have been known to wake in the middle of the night and go to my workroom and just know what it is that is wanting to be set free from the stone....And I will loose myself in this till it is done...It flows through me like a current that I can't control...Nor at times do I want to....

I celebrate this connection with the Universe when I am feeling Inspired....

Inspiration is great and I hope we will stay inspired together to share our experience here on this thread. flowerforyou

James thank you for making that song for me. I am really inspired by the native americans as you already now. They give me strength when I have the opportunity to learn from their knowledge that is so simple and inspiring. It really isn't a big difference at all with shamanism and even buddhism if you correlate them together. I even think that the natives where Asian at one time that took Shamanism with them and over the many thousands of years changed in different parts of the country, but still had the core idea from ancient traditions on hold.

In the end it is the beauty that I see in it altogether.
