Carol whatis a good dry white wine for cooking? I usually just use whatever I happen to have around. I'd probably go for a chardonney or something like that. Maybe I should try this for my company.

When you eat that stuff from the grocery store, pre cooked stuff...everything has been taken out of it except the turd...goes straight through and doesn't leave a mark ....except in your underwear. well in that case I guess you better stick to cooking ! will save on laundry that way!

I have heard though if its not good enough for drinking then you shouldn't cook with it .Is that true?

actually, after 20 years of living in the woods logging, I am a passable cook on some items...five supper meals to be exact...tacos on Monday, Pork chops on Tuesday, Chili beans on Wednesday, Steak on Thursday, and waffles on Friday. Saturday nite I eat at the restaurant. Been that way for nigh onto thirty years.
