Wow she lived to be a ripe old age! That's wonderful.
So is the house in the same city where you lived?

evening silver...better for them to go before they suffer and while they still have their wits about them. Physically worn out I could deal with...it was the mental degradation...the loss of self-esteem I was concerned about...never had to deal with the mental issues, luckily

I spent the last 15 y3ears living next door to her, I have lived here in western Wyoming all my life...lol...was born in a house a quarter mile from where I live now. Not a city...2 miles from a town of less than 100 ppl....125 miles to a town of 50K

You really have roots then.
Have you ever wanted to move to a different city?

never, since I got some sense. I lived in Honolulu for 4 years. Lexington, Ky for a couple, and decided that I wanted to live here, so I moved here and have never regretted it, much...lol

I got tired of it, no change of seasons was the absolute worst. Believe it or not, constant greenery gets boring. Winter makes one appreciate summer so much more, and spring and fall.

I think I could give up snow and freezing rain and driving sideways in the winter..no problem.
They say we are suppose to have 4 seasons yet 3 of them have snow!
