Hi everyone!  Just got home from my son's football scrimmage--in the pouring rain. Our team did really well but I got soaked, even with an umbrella. Football in the rain-every mother's nightmare. You sit there praying no kid gets hurt running on that wet muddy field!
Yeah he came home Wednesday after I got back from being out of town. We had a long talk, he apologized and we laid some ground rules so we'll see how it goes. I made dinner last night-breaded pork chops, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. He ate like he hadn't eaten in a week and a half. Told me he was so glad to have home cooked food. Even at 17 you can get to a male with home cooking 
If you like pork chops, try baking them on top of baked beans, slow for a couple of hrs.. they are really good that way. I serve them with mashed potatoes and veggies.... |
