invisible,
If you ever feel that God's law is unfair or too difficult to live by, that's because it is. It is impossible for mankind to please the perfect and holy Father. It is because God loves us, regardless of our flaws, that he sent his only Son to forgive us our sins. The Law is meant to break you, to humble you, so that you will accept Jesus as your savior. Jacob (aka Israel) was strong, smart and determined. He didn't rely on God. God blessed (that's right, blessed) Jacob with a bad hip. So that Jacob HAD to depend on God, rather than himself. When compared to eternity, mortal suffering is as nothing. Jacob praised God for the blessing of his bad hip, because he had survived things he couldn't have survived otherwise, if he had only relied on himself. If you humble yourself before God and submit your will to Jesus, Jesus will heal what is broken and give you strength, fullfillment and peace like you have never known. |

We do not all have it adenture. Can somebody help here? I don't remember
where it is written except that it's i the new testament-We are all his creation, be we are not all his children. |

AdventureBegins,
The Holy Spirit was only given to select people in the Old Testament. When Samson was filled with the Holy Spirit, he was the strongest man to ever live. When Elijah was filled with the Holy Spirit, he was incredibly fast. It wasn't until Jesus's sacrifice for us, that God has poured out his Holy Spirit onto all who accept Jesus as their savior. |

rproman,
I think this is the scripture you are thinking of. John 8:44 -------------------------------------------------------------- Ye are of [your] father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. -------------------------------------------------------------- |

I submit my will to God.
He does not humble me he lifts me up. Why would I need to submitt to the son when I am of the father? In glory I walk. By glory my life moves. I do not need to be 'saved'. For the glory of God is in my life. |

I do understand all this, but can really ANYBODY claim that his
interpretation of the bible is the only right one? If there are so many out there reading the bible, all of them belief in Christ, but so many of them interpreting different what they read, is there really only one right interpretation? And who can claim his is the only right one? |

Abracadabra your view points are very unsual to me.
"If they are being saved from a life of sin then why are there so many sinless people out there who have never been saved? Note: By ‘sinless’ I simply mean that sin is not negatively affecting their lives, they are happy and content and have done thing that burdens them with serious feelings of guilt. (i.e. they have no need to have any burdens ‘lifted’) Sinless means completely WITHOUT sin. Everyone sins! Even you. *The only sinless person was Christ.* Regardless if you say you're affected or not, everyone sins. You confess, repent as a believer. Where did you get that information from? O_o Christ redeems us from an eternal and spiritual death (hell). If it wasn't for Christ we wouldn't have a chance to receive eternal life and reconciliation with God. Sin started with Adam but ended with Christ. |

Invisble you are so true when you say there are many interpretations of
the Bible. So many drastic ones that it is truly confusing. That's what the Holy Spirit is for, aka the "counselor." Basically the Holy Spirit can be a spiritual guide. The BEST thing for anyone who wants to read the word is to pray for spiritual guidance then read the Bible yourself. Another options is go to someone of the church you trusts. God is all about faith and love. To experience him you have to want to believe in your heart. |

What you will find invisible is that many of us are in perfect harmony
with our interpretation. Yes, sometimes there are minor differences in belief of what the ible says. That is the small stuff. The big stuff is Christ our savior from eternal damnation period. all the rest will be settled later. |

John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. |

The holy spirit is in us all.
When a person becomes 'filled' with it is the point at which they allow it to move them. All have it. Few allow it to move them. As we are in the Image of God His spirit is within us for it is a part of his Image. and spider I am not of the children of god. No I am proud to say I am the son of man. As god created me so Iam. |

pagrby has excellent posts. Thankyou so much for everything you say. You
to Spider :) |

Adventure, if you truly submit your will to God,than what is the problem
with submitting to Christ? God said audibly to the crowd when John Baptised Jesus, This is my beloved son with whom i am well pleased. If God the father was well pleased, then that means what Jesus taught, to follow him and submit to him IS GOD"S WILL. |

rproman great posts and so true lol.

Isn't it God who has the final say on who is "saved" and who is not? At
least that is what it says in the Bible... |
|

Thank you bored, see invisible? we are not known to each other, people
from all over and we are in harmony. That is only acheived through the Holy Spirit. |

Yes Suzy, that is what I think, too.
So anybody telling me I'm not saved because I am who I am would be prejudiced? |

Adventure I, and i'm sure many of us here "respectfully" disagree.

invisible,
boredchick07 has given you very good advice, I couldn't say it better and I wouldn't try. rproman is absolutely right. Most differences between Christian churches are minor. We do have our cults, but we have the Word and Holy Spirit to help us decern the truth. The best person to interpret the Word for you, is you. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, you will find truths that aren't in mere words. Scriptures will convey ideas that the words don't contain. You will be moved to tears at the shear love that God has for you, because as you read about it in the Bible, the Holy Spirit will confirm it in your heart. Please, give it a chance. Humble yourself and ask for God to reveal the truth to you. |
