Well guys, just so you know, beautiful women want a guy with confidence. If you don't think you deserve a beautiful woman you will never have one 
And the key to winning one of these women over is to treat them with respect and not just hit on them and make them feel like a piece of meat. Chances are they know they are hot and don't need to be told that in email #1. That's totally true, Myka. But...even the MOST self confident guy will eventually run into the " Why bother " syndrome when he gets shot down, laughed at and/or insulted enough times. I hear you, I feel that way too sometimes. Why bother when it seems like every guy I talk to is more interested in my looks than ME. So you can see we too are a little jaded by guys making us feel like eye candy and not someone they would want to take home to mom. I don't doubt that for a second. I know it works the same for both sides. But, the OP asked why guys would say that and I was just giving reasons..lol |

How bout this one.
Subject A) Is actually a nice person and treats others well. He/she speaks from their heart and is considered to be attractive. There are people like this out there too and it seems to be standard to mark them as unapproachable due to the "too good to be true" line. |

Probably not seeing as how a lot of people especially online tend to hide their true selves, or have been taken advantage of by someone in their life who seemed to be too good to be true and in fact wasn't the product in which they advertised themselves to be. Its like the one bad apple that ruins it for the whole orchard.

It seems that some folks, right or wrong, have a very high opinion of themselves, while others, also rightly or wrongly, have a very low opinion of their self worth. And a lot of both of them seem to make quick judgments based only on the way people look.

Nor should it. Everyone should be taken by his/her own actions. However with all the horror stories people read online and I know I have seen enough threads on this site about the topic with people being not what they say. It is understandable.

After reading several posts on this subject...I decided to go and look at your profile. Ah ha...found an error at the beginning!! Shouldn't the "age" be at somewhere between 30-35? You can't be 55, as you have indicated.
