Topic: How often do you check/change your profile? | |
---|---|
Do you just type it and let it ride? Do you pick at it over time? Do you ever just scrap it and re-write the whole thing?
I think I'm a 'picker'.... some days I'll read my profile and wonder "What was I thinking?" Twice this week, in fact. Only once have I completely scrapped it and and started over. Which are you? |

Not me. Once I put the profile up, it's pretty much staying up. That is, provided there aren't any serious inaccuracies present in the profile.

I tweak mine from time to time, because I have the same "what was I thinking" type moments.

Geez PATS, from what I've seen you're practically the most popular man on here. With a new profile you'll have to beat them off with a stick! |

i dont think they matter much anyhows For me, they kind of do. It's frustrating when someone won't bother to take even 10 minutes to list out a few likes/dislikes, especially if they've nudged me to indicate interest. If there's nothing in the profile for me to go on, or if it says "laid back guy who likes to have fun", or the dreaded "want to know? Just ask", I'm probably going to send my pat answer of "I appreciate your interest, but I'm going to have to decline". |

I was very new to dating sites/profiles when I joined, and just threw up the same generic stuff. I've revised MANY times thanks to those posts ;) |

I pretty much keep the original set up and make adjustments when I do.

Its even better when they send a message and say "check out my profile and let me know what you think" and there isn't anything to read. |

I always change my profile. Well, atleast my headline. I also get bored of my profile quite often. So changing it gives me a chance to write (which I love to do), and also express myself all over again...because I feel like there is so much I can say, but depending on what I write, I get different responses from different people. It's interesting.
