Many of us claim to be suckers for romance. But I think that romance is a very subjective concept and comes in many forms. What kinds of things are romantic to you?

For me, its thoughtful gestures, like a neck and should massage, a moonlight picnic, or leaving me a card on the seat of my car for me to find on my way to work in the morning.

I think that just about anything can be romantic. Romance is, really, nothing more than someone showing that they're thinking of you. It can be as simple as picking up a pizza on the way home, doing the chore you hate, giving you a real hug out of the blue and for no particular reason.

I think too many people get bogged down in the grand gestures (something they may not be comfortable with or know how), and forget that the little things mean so much more.

Oh, and romance does not only have to come on Valentines Day, your anniversary and birthdays. It can be a daily event.

I agree with Suz...being romantic is showing you care in the little things that you do and say on any given day not just certain holidays. To me the little things mean so much more

Romance is also subjective, what I think is romantic is not necessarily what another person would. I mean, if a guy brought home a shiny new techy toy for me just because he saw it and thought I'd love it. Adn encouraged me to do the little things that make me happy or takes me out to get a new hat because I love hats.... That's perfect. But not every girl is into what I am. I think it's also someone finding the stuff that YOU love.

Flowers and candy aren't the only thing that that are romantic!

To have sex with a woman. What can be more romantic than this? Men and women are different. We have different hormones inside us that trigger different desires and romantisms.

This thread was asking what was romantic for different people. Even if it isn't romantic for you, it doesn't mean that it can't be for others.
