Some women find it harder...because they become more picky/finicky.
You become set in your ways. That's just part of being mature. Imagine how the guys feel. We reach mid-30's and we become too old for the games of the 20yr olds and too young for the 40's. But alot of guys in their 30's, are like prime steak. If you grab'em while their hot...they can be something fantastic. But leave'em out too long and they get cold and tough. |

I am a man that dates younger women almost exclusively. I date them because they are attracted to me. Every time I attempt to speak with a woman my age she throws up her walls and snubs me. So, I go and talk to the skinny 20 somethings. They like me, they make out with me and they come home with me they have wild sex with me. Maybe these women my age are playing hard to get. I haven't a clue. But, if they are, they should stop with the games and go after what they want. We're not playing hard to get.  We just know what we want and won't settle. Got that RIGHT!!!! And, just because a bunch of these younger guys are after us older gals doesn't mean I'll act on offers and take advantage of their stupidity or naivete' just to get a nice long ride in bed. See, right there, HUGE difference in maturity in me compared to certain man around my age. I don't take advantage of young nubile men just to satisgy my physical needs.  Yes, very picky, I sure am. And would rather be without than with someone who is so easy with putting out.

We're not playing hard to get. We just know what we want and won't settle. Well, why do they get so upset about me dating the young ones? I speak to Ms 40, she snubs, I go and speak to Miss 25 and we hit it off. Then Ms 40 tells me I'm a "child molester." If Ms 40 truly isn't interested why does she care about who I'm going home with? |

I think dating is just more difficult when we're a little older, period. I actually prefer younger MEN, but that is because I'm old enough that men younger than me can be established! |

I had originally posted this under the 'new to the site' forum but after reading a few pages here, I think it needs to be here! So here's my post from the New forum:
Hi all, I'm new here. I am puzzled by something I've noticed on online dating services. Why is it that the majority of men say they are looking for women younger than themselves? As in, they will say their age is 45 but they are looking for someone 28-45. ??? I don't get it. I am 47 and I never would dream of looking for a 28 year old man for a relationship! Nothing in common. But men's profiles say that ALL THE TIME! Women's seem to have more of an even split. For example, a 35 year old will be looking for a man 30 - 40 years old. Most men's profiles are just nuts about that! I mean, honestly, are most 28 year old women really going to want to date a 45 year old??? No way! Some, maybe, but not in general. So what is this with the men my age looking for a cohort of women whose ages start at almost my daughter's age? And to be honest with you, the other really annoying thing about it is that most men my age who post their photos look WAY older than what they say they are. So they look about 60 and want to date 28 year olds. What is that???? So that was my post on the New forum. Input? |
