Not sure about this since I've heard some pretty unsavory things about online dating services. I'd like to get out more, meet people, and one day find a good relationship. I have 2 kids - one in high school, one in college, and 2 dogs. Photography and writing are hobbies, and I like the stuff that most people like - travel, good food, you know. The usual. I'm looking for what must be rare - an educated man, preferably already a father (easier to relate to for both of us), divorced, who has a good job, responsible, funny, caring, non-smoker. Ok, let's be real. I've heard that users of online dating sites are the fastest growing group of STD carriers now. Yuck. I'm not interested in 'hookups', or fooling around with married people, or people looking for 'adult activities'. I don't really want to be married again, but a good relationship? Sure. I like most types of music, love clic rock, Pink Floyd, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and tons of others. Politically, I'm liberal. Religiously, I'm Unitarian by philosophy, agnostic by practice. I'm biracial - white and Native. I can have a rather sarcastic sense of humor. I'm what most people call a 'strong woman' - I take that as a compliment and consider it to mean that I am who I am. Many men say they are looking for strong women, but they don't really mean it - they say it because it sounds like what we want to hear. I have opinions, I voice them as appropriate, I am intelligent and ume I'm equal to you overall (of course I realize that all humans have strengths and weaknesses). Not really into sports, never really could understand the point, but open to learning. What I would like most at this point in my life is a good relationship that started as really good friends.
