my sister is mixed, and she's had no problems with her identity...other
than trying to figure out the best way to take care of her hair.

i have watched her be treated like sewer-sludge...we moved to an
all-white town when she was younger, and they weren't exactly too nice
to her, that is...until she bloomed.

i watched her go back to that town and fill in as a substitute teacher
at the local middle school...where some boys thought it would be
hilarious to right "go back to africa, ******" on the board while she
had stepped out. sad...but she's a much stronger person than most
people i know.

hell, she's prettier inside AND out.

I'm not saying that what you've seen has no weight to it, I know that
our society as a whole sucks. BUT it will not change if we don't change
it. WE can control our own lives, love who we want, and as long as we
care for our children, they will turn out great.

I personally don't mind walking into a wall of a big beautiful black

Sadly not everyone does care for their children. They become
disenfranchised. They are left in foster care, are on their own at a
young age and a vast majority of these children become lifelong
offenders.

Again, all I am saying is that we need to consider all the possibilities
of ANY relationship. Certainly the same can happen to children in any
relationship but I was attempting to follow the thread.

question posed should have been taken seriously.
