I have no idea where you got the sterilization thing. As for being
naive...I have no idea. All I was saying was there are more issues
involved than will my parents have a cow.

Sadly not everyone does care for their children. They become
disenfranchised. They are left in foster care, are on their own at a
young age and a vast majority of these children become lifelong
offenders.

Again, all I am saying is that we need to consider all the possibilities
of ANY relationship. Certainly the same can happen to children in any
relationship but I was attempting to follow the thread.

There seems to be a abundance of feel good-ism going on here and the
question posed should have been taken seriously.

The reference to Bi-racial in the foster care system was meant in
relation to children of either race versus children who are of mixed
race.

I wonder if anyone here realizes that I am not disagreeing with the
concept of interracial unions. I am just stating that there are many
things to consider beside whether Mom and Dad are going to hate him/her.

Personally I have had a long term relationship with someone of another
race and religion.

My issue is purely about societal and psychological implications
regarding children of interracial unions.

All of this is fine...love whom you choose. Bigotry be damned.

But people get out there and work with these kids as I do every day and
tell me that there they do not suffer from identity crises.

My point of view is neither racist, biblical or smothered with warm
fuzzies as it appears most here are. My point of view is purely from a
sociological aspect that it appears no one cares about.

Check facts before you decide that I am living in some 70s dream world.
These children are more likely to end in foster care and 30% less likely
to be adopted.

Of course it's an issue. There are all sorts of
implications...religious, societal. And what of the possible children
born from this union? Bi-racial children often don't fit into either
world.

These are not racial issues more than common sense issues.

There is more to consider in a situation like this than is he/she cute.

the inductee wears into the Hall. He won 192 games with the Red
Sox...more than half his total wins. He is trying to put a Yankee cap in
