People suck, buy a dog.smokin

No they don't and you know it. Finding love is a search or they would call it buying love. Oh wait there's a name for that too.ohwell

Okay, not all of them do.

Most people suck, buy a dog still stands. smokin

Fear, you are so literal. There maybe just one or two that are very special. And dogs are very nice.

I've had more success with dogs than I have with people, for the most part the people I've come across in my life do suck. Typically they are selfish, condescending, and usually just after one thing (not typically anything related to a relationship). Now to figure a rough number of people I've come across is difficult, but I would estimate it at roughly 10,000 and giving it a 10% shot is even far too many. So out of that 10,000 I've met roughly 1% that were good people, that is a very troubling number and an even more troubling equation.

I've met 100 people that are actually good people out of 10,000 people, real world setting and geographically similiar.

Some guys do like the bigger girls. I had a friend who was an average sized and he always dated bigger women. You are probably still single because YOU have higher standards.

some men are very shallow.. of course you need somewhat of an attraction but i can be attracted to a skinny girl or big girl it is all in your attitude and how you present yourself...my ex got big after having our kids but i was still madly attracted to her body and her and she gained a lot of weight and if you have kids you know the changes your body makes dear

Shallow has nothing to do with it. It's about personal preference.

Ok stop this beatin around the bush here. Everyone knows it's socially unacceptable (as well as unhealthy) for women to be overweight and the majority who think that are...men. I am finally motivated to drop some poundage myself, lost 7 so far. If a man wants to go out, fine. If not, no sweat. I'm just keepin on keepin on with what I have to do. Think of the health issues rather than if men like plus-size women. If I catch crap for this post, I'm sorry if I offended. But remember this is coming from a plus gal.

I've never been one to be hung up on a woman's figure. As a matter of fact, most of the ladies I've dated were rather... well... let's just say they wouldn't necessarily be considered "supermodel" material.

Actually, it's considered socially unacceptable because the fashion magazines tell us it is, and most are run by women. Teen magazines have articles on dieting, on how to get guys by looking great, etc. - and again, most are run by women. It's a self destructive cycle that we as females tend to buy into, and never quite shake free from. Blaming men for that would be supremely unfair.

Men respond to confidence and sense of self far more than they do to what size jeans you wear, or at least that's been my experience.

I'm talking about most men in general, not fashion magazines. You hear so much about men cheating on their spouses because they'd "let themselves go." Granted it goes both ways, my point was to not sit and wonder what men like, just be the best and healthiest you can be. Extra weight is not healthy, believe me as I'm fighting to clean up myself. Easier said than done, but it CAN be done. My GP told me last week that we start accumulating arterial blockages when we're in our TWENTIES. surprised My a$$ is gettin in gear, no matter WHAT kind of women dudes like. rofl

Btw, do you think the women that run those fashion magazines are large women? It's a social stigma that will never go away.

But most women always want another. It's like aww look how cute he is, and I'm like yeah well in a few weeks he will be my problem and I don't need another
