If you have get togethers, then you're not doing your own thing like you would be doing at the beach. Are there dinners or dances or conventions? All of the above are out there.

I think its a self esteem thing with some people They can't be undressed in front of someone else Much less a group of people Its not sexual in nature about being a nudist. Yet we make it to be. Look at some of the comments oh no not me ? why? I mean we get naked all the time. And most people look at the human form as art. Sure some of it might be abstract. But its still an amazing form. ( guess the artist in me is showing)... I believe in myself and who I am. As the saying goes..." comfortable in my own skin".... Americans are prudes actually I have been to countless topless and nude beaches all over the world. Even Long Island has a section of beach for nude sun bathing. Our puritan thoughts and that looking at a naked body is wrong.. well that's just bunk the church and societies trying to influence the masses.... ok all together now take your clothes off and declare freedom.... and how many of you women who tan in closed quarters do so nude? behind closed doors? your willing to do it in an environment where possibly someone could film you and you would never know...

I've never met a nudist in my state. lol yep... it's to damn cold here to be a nudist Minx... wanna meet a couple LOL. Jill actually there is a landed club in Mo call Show Me Acres in Stover (Gee I wonder what that means LOL). There are also non-landed clubs all over the state that rent facilities out in their entirety like bowling alleys and enclosed swimming pools that sort of thing.

I do have a question. Is it common in your area? It's surprisingly common throughout the US and the world. The state with the highest percentage of clubs is Florida, but Ca I think is a close second.

when im at home i like to walk areound and hang out in the nude. my girlfriend hates it. what makes were most mad is when she FINDS A CHEST HAIR IN THE EGGS LOL!! That's really bad

I think I'm to much of a 'touchey feely' kind of person to be around nudists Jill, I'm a hugger like no other and that is perfectly acceptable. Just cause we are nude doesn't mean we are not humans that need physical contact. my clothes are my barrier from me and the rest of the world. Tho I love physical contact... I save the skin to skin contacts for my man I have no issue being naked. In fact, I like it. I just don't want to be naked for everyone Nothing wrong with that. It isn't for everyone that's for sure. To each his/her own. Not saying I wouldn't go for at least one meeting tho Best of all worlds for that is if there is a non-landed club. Many have members that include couples where only one of them is a nudist. So they readily accept if you wish to come and decide if you are comfortable taking your own clothes off.

May be off your beaten path but does that make it impossible? Yes. I'd wonder what else they were so free spirited about. It has been a concern for many when only person in a couple is a nudist. That's where the non-landed groups come in nice because you have the opportunity to see for yourself what it's about without having to take your own clothes off.

Could you fall in love and have a happy relationship with someone that is a nudist though you are not one yourself? I'm finding that people have huge misconceptions about nudism and it is quite disconcerting. So, what say you? I don't even know how to fall in love, let alone have a happy relationship...I can't do it with clothed people and can only assume I would have the same "success" with a nudist. Nothing against them, I just have a magical ability to **** things up really, really easily.

Good point indeed Duck!! Did anyone realize that at any given moment they may be being taped and don't even know it? You have no idea who owns the footage and what is going to be done with it but it is there.

I have no clue what being a nudist entails. Oh goodness, I'm trying really hard to answer this without doing plays on words all over the place. Screw it. A person has pro's and con's no matter who or what they use as a defining label for themselves. As long as you can be honest with yourself and them regarding those pro's and con's, the answer to this question will naturally surface. Being a nudist entails taking your clothes off and doing most anything else you might do with friends with clothes on. I personally have done the most obvious stuff, swimming, playing tennis and other such court games, playing pool, Singing Karaoke, Dancing, Playing Golf, Bowling and gezz the list goes on and on.

It is American's in general who have a problem with Nudity. Europeans think American's are nuts because of our puritanical views on nudity.
