Back, Back, Back...IT"S OUTTA HERE!!!!!
Barry hits number 751, can he do it by the All-Star break? Stay tuned folks |

No Sluggo, he' can't! He's too embarrassed to be standing next to a real HR hitter like Junior

All the people he was competing against were using as well....ie: pitchers...enuff said!

GO BARRY !!!!!!!!!!!

The way Barry's been swinging the bat. He'll be lucky to hit another one by the Break.

Actually considering the AllStar break starts Monday: I guess he doesn't have a shot (but I guess he has 2 or 3 games left to try) but it looks bleak....

Once again...
GO BARRY!!!!! Isn't it interesting that the sport that's so obsessed with stats the one that's changed so much? Sluggo, earlier you mentioned the differences between now and then. Here's another one: More teams have caused a dilution in the pitching. It's harder for a team to stock up on great pitching, because there's not enough to go around. One more thing: Steroids are steroids. But, has anyone noticed that people(not athletes) in their 20's are bigger overall than people in their 20's were during the 1980's. It seems the average size of the general population is growing( and I'm not talking about people getting fat). Look at young people the next time you're out, especially the guys. I'm not a small man, but I look tiny compared to guys in their 20's today. |

barry bonds is going to pass Hank aaron. it does suck but it will happen. i think Arod or Pujols will pass Bonds someday anyway so it doesn't matter if bonds passes him or not. Babe ruth still holds more records than any player in history. He retired with 193 records. He was up to bat 2500 times less than Hank aaron and he only got him by 40 home runs. Bonds will still go down as one of the best ever
A-Rod or Pujols two more suspected Roid Heads, but we'll see if they pass him: Only time will tell
Go Barry ! Git-er-done.
What's he up to now? I was at 754 last friday flew into the stands to the left of us...my voice was wrecked for a week...

the bottom line is barry bonds will take this record soon.
he has not been convicted in any court or by the league for use of anything illegal. so his record will be genuine regardless of all the nay say ers. Deal with it. |
1 more to go.

I heard the guy who caught the record-tying ball isn't sure if he wants to sell it yet.
Yeah, right. I guess he hasn't heard how much it's worth yet! |
