I do - she is my only child and my very favorite!

I can honestly say no. I love all my kids equally just as my parents and grandparents have always done. My relationship with each child is different but the love is the same.

Got no f**k trophies of my own. My parents make sure that all of us felt like the favorite.

I was always favored as a child..but I somehow sensed it was wrong.
When I approached my parents about how I saw this was hurting my other siblings, they said they loved all of us the same.... and begin to show that special favor to all of us. Parents sometimes are not aware they are hurting their other children by having favorites. But parents can be teachable. Parents naturally love all their children...and will understand , if you talk to them in a mature manner...and let them know how you feel.

I only have one child so he is absolutely my favorite!!!
 and I was my parents favorite daughter and my brother was their favorite son.........there is only the two of us!

ya my mom told me like a month ago that my broter was the fav and its cool cus he is 21 living at home with her no job not going to school and i have my own place and a job and go to school i guess i just tryed harder

Although my parents showed me favoritism early on,
they could not say "I love you " . So one day already in my late teens,I just grabbed them both...and just SHOOK them ..especially my father..and cried out, " I will not let you go til you say "I love you!!!" 
Well..from that day on, both parents slowly began to say " I love you " , to all us kids.... and then not to long after, those 3 words were spoken daily.....even from long distance... and those 3 words never ceased...even until the day my beloved ma and pa both went home. And us siblings still never cease to say " I love you" to each other.
Parents are teachable.

I don't have kids, and my parents love my sister and I equally.
But honestly...it never stopped me from joking/teasing my sister by saying I was their favourite!  (She knows better though!)

Hummm well I have 2 kids and love them both the same with all of my heart. But will admit I have directed more of my time towards my son. Was it because I loved him more or he was my favorite
 nooooooooo. It was due to he was the one always getting into trouble the most.

i have a boy and a girl. and each of them our my favorites give or take the day.
thereis a significant age gap in my kids...so my eldest was an only child for her first 6 1/2 years. and now she just rarely likes kickin it with her mama, while my youngest still likes to hang and play with me. I love them both with all my heart...AND i secretly tell each of them that they are my favorite. (because they both really are) |
