Jesus taught "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you are
saying, 'We see,' so your sin remains" I think Jesus was stating that
those people who had sent him to his death didn't realize that he was
the Messiah, so they shouldn't be held accountable for that crime.
That's a terrible crime to be guilty of, killing God's only son and the
only sinless man to ever live, I wouldn't want to be confronted with
that by God.

I was talkin about what I have been told he cried out on the cross. I
was wondering who he was asking for forgiveness for.

for those who say Satan does not exist or is already defeated . . .

first I encourage you to get out of the country . . . Satan has enough
of a hold on us in the states that he doen't need to use tactics he once
used. Travel to places in Africa and South America . . . I have seen
people possesed and spirits cast out . . . I have witnessed outright
demonic war and oppression . . . it exists and cannot be denied. In the
states we fill our lives with busyness and worries, we have no time to
truely serve God, so Satan has very little work to do here.

second . . . when Christ died he died that we might live . . . I suggest
you read your Bible again. Why would satan be called "the Prince of
Darkness" in the New Testament if he is alrady defeated?? Why would
paul warn us against him?? Read the book of Revelation and Daniel again
. . . I won't argue any order to events . . . but it seems very clear
that in the end times the devil is alive and at work.

Satan does not do theses things. Those that think they are his minions
do.

He has no more power upon the earth.

MOST PEOPLE THINKING THAT SATAN IS POWERLESS, THEY ARE WRONG READ GOSPEL
OF JOHN I THINK WHERE JESUS SAID THE WORLD BELONGS TO SATAN THIS WORLD
WAS ONCE OURS TILL ADAM AND EVE ATE THE APPLE IT WAS THEN TAKEN AWAY
FROM US AND GIVEN TO SATAN HE HAS POWER HERE ON THE EARTH, GOD GAVE HIM
POWER AS LONG AS IT IS IN JESUS WILL

To me salvation and recovery are merely acceptance of what we are
powerless over. That doesn't mean we are powerless but by accepting the
truth we gain power over that which made us powerless. The power of
powerlessnes helps me to rid myself of demons. Acceptance of reality as
it is gives me the choice of whether I want to do something about that
which made me powerless. A belief in something greater than me helps me
to understand my own insignificance but by no means makes me
insignificant. I wouldn't want to be anything more than I am or less
than I am but just accept the fact that I am human. It is important for
me to admit my mistakes because it allows me to learn from them. I am
free when I accept reality for what it is.

If "Satan" does exist, he has the easiest job in the cosmos, as mankind
can be "evil" without any assistance or encouragement.

Good can't exist without evil. Evil can't exist without good. But who
decides what is good and what is evil? The powers that be decide. If
Nazi Germany had succeeded in dominating the world. Then they would
dictate what is good and what is evil. But just because they didn't
achieve world domination, that doesn't mean another (so called evil
empire) could windup controlling everything.

Take this country for instance. Most of the world see us as the evil
empire. So in that respects, Nazi Germany succeeded. They forced us to
be the world police and by so doing, we become the worlds evil.
Evil is in the eye of the beholder. One persons evil may be another's
good. You may decide to kill in the name of god. But other's may see
that act as evil. The terrorist saw their act as righteous by virtue of
the fact that the West has dominated their region for centuries. We see
it as evil by the fact we are oblivious to their plight. And the fact
that they did it to us the so called righteous world leader. We have a
lot to atone for. Until that happens, we will always be seen as evil.

Ghost

I don't believe in Satan, not the way most of you probably do. I'm
again, not reading the whole thread. I believe that Satan/Lucifer/The
Devil, or whatever name you give that entity, watches over dark entities
(which covers about 70% of the human population) until they find their
way home.

A dark entity is a person who can very convincingly emulate good kind
people and fool you into thinking they are just like you. Think Hitler,
Jeffery Domer, Charles Manson: people who until they showed how corrupt
and horrid they were, was everyone's best friend.

The saddest thing is that they are teachers, doctors, lawyers, and
PREACHERS who harm people behind closed doors.
