The main source of proof in the millions of witness who saw Jesus and watched his wonders.People from every walk of life saw what he did.Even kings, guards, soldiers, and priests not only witnessed what Jesus did but some wrote books about him.

The bible is historically acurate. You can compare the bible locations, people, and events to any historian or scientist and they will not deny that those people and places did not exist.Even if you take the bible out completely, you can compare other non religious books to the people and events that happened back then.

People died in the name of Jesus. Many people died very horrible deaths for being associated with Jesus.People don't die for something they just made up.

Jesus was prophesized in the old testament. The way Jesus lived and died was all predicted hundreds of years before he came.Since the old testament spends a great deal of time talking about Jesus if you were to deny Jesus you would basically have to deny the old bible. We all know you can't just pick and choose what you want to believe in the bible.

People from all over the world had experiences where they were sick and healed by Christians. No other religion in the world has had so many stories of miracles, people being healed by the holy ghost, gotten off of drugs or alcohol, stopped thoughts of suicide or depression, ended abusive marriages, etc. These stories of people given hope where there was none would easily average hundreds a day.No other religion even comes close to the testament of Christians.

Ask any Christian if they feel the power of Jesus in church and you will always get the same answer.Yes

I can go on all night but it don't matter to me if you believe or not.

Millions of people saw Jesus? Was he performing nightly at Madison Square Gardens or something?

Why do you even care? What is the point of debating if you are just going to say stupid things?Seriously either debate me with facts backing up what you say or this conversation is pointless.

Good points Thomas!flowerforyou

There were also many witnesses of those events that were still alive at the time the Gospels were written. If there were discrepancies we would of known about it because the people would of been in an uproar and would of disputed the Gospels. Not one person did!

unfortunately - none of these stories (as nice as they sound) would pass for proof.

Ever read an american history book? great read!
now read a history book written by another nation and you'll discover an ocean of differences. and these are "creditable" materials.

i'm an atheist that would turn 180 degrees in an instant if ANY religion could prove itself

part of me is happy to be unblinded and atheist, though to be honest - i'm partially jealous of those blissfully ignorant religious types (no offense)

You said millions of people saw him.

i asked you how millions of people saw him?

Thats a perfectly valid question.

Nothing YOU said contained anything which is a fact. OK, some books were written, thats a fact. Books do not prove anything do they? Some historical events, people and places mentioned in the bible as well. And what? Thats not proof of a thing either.

If you dont like my questions, or my style of writing, please just ignore me rather than getting all pissy.

It's also important to remember that what Jesus did was so important and serious that talking about or admitting you were with Jesus was a swift death.Practicing Christianity would also get you a death sentence even years after the events. It was because of these reasons that the bible was not written till some 20 years after Jesus's death. It's also worth noting that Christianity has never been a religion where it is forced onto nonbelievers through death threats or beatings(like the Muslim religion where you don't have a choice in believing in another religion). To say that billions of people came to Jesus on their own free will says alot.

Well if that is the way you want to look at it then you might as well throw out every history book written before photographs were invented because you are only listening to the accounts of the witness with out any proof.

Nothing like calling the religious types ignorant while debating a book you say don't exists using it as a referance for your defense.

Jesus walked the earth for 3 years and spoke to millions of people. The bible says many times that so many people were following Jesus that you could not count the numbers. The original intent to kill Jesus was that the Romans saw that Jesus had a army of millions that would do anything he told them to and easily wipe out the Romans. One of his disciples even suggested that they wipe out Rome but Jesus said that is not why he is here.

How true. Even now, literally millions are coming to Christ of their own free will each year! Christianity is spreading in Muslim nations (and others) where people risk their lives everyday to carry a Bible and confess Christ.

grammar? I'm not sure what you're going for here buddy. what spock

Looks like you're very sensitive about the topic. Even after reading an honest post that specifically said "no offense"

Maybe its best that you take a breather and come back later with more of a receptive attitude.

again... no offense drinker
