Well... what IS scientific fact is that the Earth is not only on a tilted rotation, but a wobbly one as well. In fact, several geologists have theorized that our increasingly unstable weather is due to the increasingly wobbly rotation, which could (at least theoretically) explain what is "global warming" AND the pole-shifting theory.

The magnetic poles have changed many times and the earth has wobbled just a bit in 4 billion years. If you want to argue about gravity, time, mass, or energy in the universe then disprove Einstein's theory of relativity. Good luck. Seems tough.

A wobble will not create global warming, or cooling. It will create seasonal change . . . that does not = global avg temp change.

Unless that "wobble" gets more and more pronounced- it could result in more extreme seasonal changes as well as unusual weather patterns as well. Some astronomers have theorized that this is happening as we speak. Some even theorize that the planetary wobble could be severe enough to result in the Earth doing what some call a "flip", which has ALSO happened before as well.

The last one was 1958 – but we didn’t have the technology or the dependence on it at that time, for us to take much notice. Not that there weren’t signs, and who knows, it might have been a phenomenal maximum event that put an end to the dino’s. ?? It is certain, however, that a maximum event would affect almost all our communications, including airport towers, tower to plane and vice versa communications and internet. It’s possible there could even be incredible amounts of crime – consider the security systems that are on-line or need satellite to function. Once again consider hospitals, how “connected” are hospitals and their patients to the kind of technology that might be interrupted by a solar storm of any magnitude?

I guess that’s about as much concern as I can muster for any particular prophecy or fate filled over exaggerations of the next dooms day event. I guess if there's a concern, at least on my part, I wonder if our systematic destruction of our environment will put an end to humanity before any natural disaster would.
