There are strange things happening in this solar system that have been documented. Something is happening. I don't know what but something.

But I believe the earth and this solar system will get through it and changes will happen gradually. There may be casualties, but there will also be survivors.

Anything could happen. The mega volcano in the Yellowstone National park could erupt.... it is due. That would destroy the United States.

I don't think that will happen though although it could. The earth's magnetic poles are also due to shift any time now. I don't know that that entails.

When the earth reaches the galactic equator of the Milky way perhaps the "magnetic" forces will tilt the earth or the entire solar system.

I think things are getting warmer not because of anything mankind is doing, but because of where our solar system his headed. On December 21, 2012 the sun will be at the galactic equator and will pass through to the other side of the galaxy. This will not happen all of a sudden. It will take years to get through this area.

There is a place called "the dark road" where there are no stars and no stars can be seen through this blackness. Nobody knows what is there or why no stars can be seen. That is where we are headed.

So its documented, but you don't know what it is . . . .

As far as a volcano destroying the entire US, lol well no recorded volcano has EVER destroyed that much land mass, so that would be impressive indeed. Hope I get lots of time to watch it from here in Florida.

magnetic forces of what? It takes two opposing magnetic fields to create a force, perhaps even three to make a rotational force . . . sounds like more sci-fi to me.

We have instruments that measure the amounts of radiation we receive . . . its not going up . . . warming is occurring due to a greenhouse effect, this is well studied at this point and deniers are just that, in denial.

Id love a link, never heard of it. Unless its a black hole, and someone just decided they liked that spooky name . . . we have some pretty good, and interesting data on the supermassive black hole at our galaxies center, but again, that is the center . . . ie, not a region we will ever travel through on our solar system galactic rotation, that is of course becuase like every other solar system in the Milky way we are rotating around this super massive center of the galaxy.

It was only called the "dark road" by ancient astrologists or Myans. Its probably not a widely used term.

But scientists know about the area and some say it could be what they call "dark matter" but in any case you can't see any stars there. Maybe its just a place with no stars.... But you would think you could see stars through it.... like on the other side. Anyway, our solar system is headed strait in that direction.

I said I don't think the mega volcano will do anything, I think the earth has enough of a balance of pressure and flow and heat to prevent that... but if it does happen and you are in florida, there will not be much left of you. That kind of thing could take out more than half of the United States.

I don't buy the stuff about global warming but who knows. If they are so sure about it then they should stop cutting down the rain forests.

The milky way spins and is shaped sort of like a plate. (Like all spinning galaxies) On the outer edges of where it spins, that is where our solar system is traveling diagonally across that spinning equator. I don't know if you would call that "magnetic," forces... perhaps the word is "gravity." Something keeps the stars and planets and solar systems spinning around the center of the galaxy.

Our solar system is spinning at a different angle than the Milky way is spinning. That is because we are not originally part of the Mikly way galaxy. Our system was captured from another galaxy that collided with the Milky way.

These two different spinning angles (or directions?) might not be all that compatible on the outer edge of the galaxy as we pass through to the other side.

I find the date thing, the set in stone thing, a little too limiting...

I feel the 'shift' already....in the natural world I exist in...I don't have concrete walkways, I don't have concrete yards, and walls and compacted living.

I have an expansive 'natural earth based existence'...as in surrounded by the organic world...I walk barefoot everywhere, 'connected', so to speak...

and the natural world has changed, in the 23 years I have been consciously aware of it...

Every February we have blue butterflies hatch, en masse, that's EVERY february...it coincides with the mackeral, and blue fin tuna 'running'...the bait fish schools 'swarming'...the dolphins and their pups, 'schooling'...I have checked in with Indigenous Australians, true 'natives' of this area, who have a history older than my own...and EVERY February the butterflies have hatched...in their 'history', it's an indicator of good hunting..

It's almost May, and the blue butterflies have just hatched...

this has been just one example, and a tiny one at that, that I have observed, when you put all the other 'observable' shifts, in the natural order of here into a bigger picture...something is shifting..

I have been studying the wavelength spectrum in Astronomy and the unexplained readings in space in and around our solar system. Lot of theories but no one knows what to make of a lot of these reading (gamma wave bursts etc.).The U.S. and Soviet Union started picking these readings up when they put sattelites into geosynchrynous orbit around the equator to monitor nuclear testing and it(the wavelength readings they picked up in space) were kept classified until the late 60/early 70s.They (the gammawave bursts they picked up in space)were totally unexpected.

You better hope this planet doesn't undergo a magnetic field reversal, or enviromental conditions here are going to be a lot like Venus. Not a very pleasant place for human (or any other) life.Actually everything would be wiped out if that happened.

There are dome like formations on the surface of Venus.

Are you saying that they have been actually seen? I was not aware of that.

Yes, indeed.I have seen them myself (the pictures).The dome-like formations at the eastern edge of the Alpha Regio Highlands on Venus.Each one averages about 20 km (12 miles) in diameter. Current theory is that they are formations of congealed lava.

I'm looking forward to 2013... Just like I was looking forward to the year 2001...
But, as we know it's not really the year 2013 at all.. It's another day where things may transpire and certainly will.

But according to the law of cause and effect,the concept of Eternal Return is more likely to be an accurate way of understanding time.

Living in fear of everything is no way to live. If I have to live that way kill me now.

Any slew of things CAN happen, a FEW will happen. The question comes to how much control do we have? Should we know that the world is going to be exloding competely in 24 hours? Why? So we can live our last hours in extreme fear and chaos?

Life is kinda like that you know. We were never guarenteed tomorrow from the day we were born. So live each day like it is your last and you will be covered on the day of your demise.
