I have to disagree, Dan. I would argue ( to use your phrase ) that fun is there to be had, but if all people are looking for here is to have fun, then they shouldn't bother to point out that they want to find someone who is intelligent. True, people shouldnt contradict themselves. They do though, and that wont stop ever. Anyone that has ever worked with the general public will understand that the general public by and large are not overly intelligent. The mix of people we have here, is just the general public. If you are after a more refined group of people to talk with, this isnt the place. |

We both tried it once, Gypsy and I , and ended up on a deserted island for a week...
not very cool, at all... and for the simple reason we were verbally bashed by some lughead for being women with intellect, who were not american. We errrr showed him our rather witty sense of humour...

Well I stopped going to the intelligent threads because all I do is get banned for having an opinion and not being american.
So its all fluff now........its too bad too.
