It is good. Finally religion will be taken out of the definition of marriage and all can live happily ever after with whoever they choose or fall in love with as long as they are of age and willing.

Let me tell you something. You can take gay people and put them into a totally non religious country and people will not want to watch two guys kissing. It is not tolerated in every country on this earth.Alot of countries they will kill you for that.Stop blaming religion. It's a total cop out.The people both religious and non religious have spoken many times on this subject and every time they don't want to see it.They only way these laws get passed is by the courts and not by the votes of the people.

Maybe if the gay guys acted like normal men instead of talking like a little girls and the women didn't act like a man working on a garbage truck they would be more accepted. And why do they need gay pride parades and then ask to be treated like everyone else.Is the only difference between the gays and straights the way they have sex?Why should they get special rights just based on the way they have sex. Many of the people who do vote on gay marriage vote no because of that very reason. It's simply giving a group of people more power and rights over everyone else because of the way they have sex.

I also do not support the gay movement because every time we vote on a issue and they don't get their way they scream bloody murder, racism, and sue sue sue.Can you imagine what kind of world this would be if every time we lost a issue we voted on we acted like a bunch of 4 year olds whining and complaining, blocking streets, and saying everyone is racist.Respect the vote of the people!

Because I have the right to believe what I want and live my life the way I want and there is certain people I would rather not be around and gays are one of them.

One day the gays and the people who support the gays will have to realize that not everyone agrees with your lifestyle. One day they will have to respect the vote of the people. One day they will realize that they lifestyle they choose will probably never be accepted.Live your life the way you want and let others live the life they want.

Hopefully the people of Iowa will vote to have a constitutional amendment to define marriage as a man and a woman. If they voters of ultra liberal California can do it I am sure Iowa can as well.

Why does it matter? How does it affect anyone in a physical or personal state? Isn't the point of this country freedom and happiness?

Oh, wait...that's right, we are a prison state.

It matters because alot of people(myself included)would rather not see two men or women kissing, holding hands, having gay pride parades, and bringing a otherwise unwelcome presence into our towns and cities. We do not want our children to learn about anal sex between two men.We do not want to go into bathrooms and dressing rooms to see a cross dressing man putting on lipstick. We do not want to see butch bull dykes standing on the corner drinking beer and cusing like salior. As someone who lived in Seattle(who has the second highest gay population in the US)I would rather not see the gays making out in front of the clubs, talking like woman, and generally acting like a idiot.

For all those who are going to call me a Nazi homophobe. Why don't you invite two gay guys and two gay girls for dinner over at your house.

I dont like to see it either. Its quite normal for a man to be disgusted by other men kissing eachother, and things. Just imagine yourself doing it...horrible isnt it?! Because the thought of yourself doing it is such a turn off it will also be a turn off to see others doing it.

That doesnt mean you think there is anything wrong with gay people. It also doesnt mean you cant accept them or be friends with them. But to deal with seeing them in action, and also the overt campness some of them have, can be quite tough.

I think they deserve all the rights we have and deserve proper respect and acceptence. But i think it will be impossible to acheive it 100 percent. Several generations away at least.

1) Blocking gay marriage doesn't keep 'em from making out in public, being butch females or "girly men."

2) If the Union can reach out and "free" other countries, they might as well loosen up US laws, like butting out of who marries who, who owns what mind-altering drug or how someone protects their home. ...And while they're at it, maybe fire the (current) FDA, light up Monsanto and quit sending money to companies who drop taxpayer labor and send U.S. jobs elsewhere.

3) Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama(Clinton). Clearly there's something very wrong with this system.

Many things in life are tough for some people to handle until it's around more, and one get's used to seeing it. Hell I don't particularly want to see a straight couple going at it either and they aren't doing any different sexually. But I am not going to freak out over it. Don't like to see two men kiss then don't watch. Nor will I watch a straight couple kiss, it's rude anyway.

Gays are not going back in the closet folks, where religion has keep them for too long. Grow up and meet the real world as it's always been in reality, what you do in bed isn't nessessarily a pretty picture either. But life is not just about sex either, is it..

An otherwise unwelcome presence into your town? It's sad to see that some people are still very homophobic.

My child hasn't learned about anal sex between men from the male couple up the street. I don't understand why he thinks that they would.

my 2 cents for what it's worth...regardless of whether people think it's right or wrong...the government has no business telling people they can't marry as long as they are consenting adults
