Soli Deo Honor et Gloria, Sola Gratia ,Sola Fide, Solus Christus, Sola Scriptura

Soli Deo gloria is the teaching that all glory is to be due to God alone, since salvation is accomplished solely through His will and action — not only the gift of the all-sufficient atonement of Jesus on the cross but also the gift of faith in that atonement, created in the heart of the believer by the Holy Spirit.

Sola gratia is the teaching that salvation comes by God's grace or "unmerited favor" only — not as something merited by the sinner.

Sola fide is the teaching that justification (interpreted in Protestant theology as, "being declared right by God"), is received by faith only, without any mixture of or need for good works, though in classical Protestant theology, saving faith is always evidenced by good works.

Solus Christus is the teaching that Christ is the only mediator between God and man, and that there is salvation through no other (hence, the phrase is sometimes rendered in the ablative case, solo Christo, meaning that salvation is "by Christ alone").

Sola scriptura is the teaching that the Bible is the only inspired and authoritative word of God, is the only source for Christian doctrine, and is accessible to all—that is, it is perspicuous and self-interpreting.

Real eyes realize real lies.

"See past your eyes,
Hear past your ears,
Live beyond your life--the TRUTH is the way."

"Love is felt on the inside. Sex is felt on the outside. I want to feel that inside before I feel that outside. I need the whole picture and not just the frame the picture came in!"

Here are a few quotes that I have been meditating on by Laurie Beth Jones:

Leaders who met at the State of the World forum determined that the most important jobs in the world are parenting, teaching, and healing.

What we think or say about ourselves is clearly and unequivocally reflected in everything we say or do – in our work, our surroundings, our family life, and our service to others.

Physicists and scientists agree that even an apparently insignificant event as a butterfly flapping its wings in Africa can affect the atmosphere in Alaska…

Every word we speak, every action we take, has an effect on the totality of humanity. No one can escape that privilege or that responsibility.
