For all the views on Marijuana, use, and legalization....

I find it particularly interesting that No One can offer links of actual statistics on Criminal Behavior linked to being under the influence of Marijuana.

So why is that? Think about it. what Saying you heard from a friend or know from personal experience are great references but again...where are the statistics. In this day and age where there is statistics on EVERYTHING! Are marijuana smokers so cunning that they have avoided being put on record in statistics of criminal activity?huh noway

Hmmmmm? think think So, we see alcohol and prescription drugs to be abused with high criminal activity. But we don't want to legalize marijuana. A drug that has so many benefits. How does this make sense?

The majority of criminal activity you can find in regarding marijuana is owning, distributing, using. spock If you make it legal, just like alcohol you eliminate most of these and the cost to the tax payers due to enforcement

I have done so - above - and I had so much to say that I had to limit what I had found. The facts are there (though some are currently being reconsidered from a new research perspective) but they are there non-the-less.

what people do in their own homes...not my business as long as it doesn't involve children. but I don't want it in my house. I still think if they make it legal...it should be the same laws as alcohol IMO of course...but we all know I'm always right laugh

Considering it is illegal in nearly every state and country in the world.I guess you think you are somehow smarter than all the people who make these decisions including the president?

Haven't smoked pot for over 20 years because of my jobs, my need to support a family, and the law. I would again use it, grow it, enjoy it were it "legal" to do so.

My complaints on these issues is loss of rights and freedoms to personal pursuits of happiness in my own home or that of another without consequence. Operating a vehicle, working a job..... yes, it is a hazzard, just like alcohol which is legal yet kills more people and causes more injuries (as do cigarettes and pharmasuiticals) than pot ever possibly could.

It does not lead to "HARDER" drugs, just like it isn't the gun that kills..... it is the individual using it.

Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness..... The Constitution and Bill of Rights mean nothing any more, and fast selling street drugs will always be illegal as long as there is profit in it for those "above the law" and law enforcement funding growing the Police State.

More government, more loss of freedom...... Wake up!

The whole deal comes down to this ... whether you get smacked up on weed or whiskey, you're still altering reality. If ya REALLY wanna do that, visit the hardware store and buy a gallon of rubber cement thinner ... just don't strike a match ... same effect, different road - and it's legal, too. I doubt that rubber cement thinner will ever be considered a 'gateway solvent' that leads to the 'harder stuff', like acetone or 1,1,1-trichloroethane ... or even 'perc' ... Nasty as reality gets sometime, I'd still rather face it undrugged ...

It's choice... something our government is hoping to give us less and less of.

Too much of anything is not good. Money and power are no different.

They geneticly alter and adulterate our foods, strive to demand vaccination for no good reason, support monopolies on the items we use most, restrict education and access. Insurance, drugs, foods, utilities, and now health care! When do we say STOP!?

When was the last time you sat down and watched over 5 minutes of a TV program without wathing 5 minutes of commercials pushing products of the major corporations? When was the last time you drank a cup of coffee that actually smelled and tasted like coffee?
