I have no desire to have children or to be around them. 
I'd rather let the people that have them, or want them, do a FANTASTIC job at parenting, and leave the pet rescue work to me!

I already have 3 boys and was pretty closed minded about having anymore.. But if I met someone and settled down with them and they wanted one it would be open to discussion

I don't have kids. And I figure that I'm not yuppy enough to plan on just now starting a family at 39. But I also don't believe in medical or chemical birth control, so if the Goddess decides that I should be a mother, she'll cause the condom to malfunction, and I'll be hearing the patter of little feet.

you my dear, can rescue my pet any day...lol as long as your gentle with him... ..... to answer or comment on the question of this topic, id have to say.....nope, dont have any and i dont think i want any at this point in time...unless a mirriacle happens with a woman whos ready to settle down and leave her girl power attitude crap in the cinderella fairytale story book she fell out from..... |

I work [WHEN I'm working] with the children of people who are either not willing, able, fit or capable of looking after their own kids. For all intents and purposes, it's like being a parent and more, rolled into one.
I used to want kids pretty badly a few years ago, but realize now that it isn't the be-all and end-all. But if a woman came along who made me think,, "zomg!! I HAVE to mix my genes with hers...", then it might be a different story.

so sad....planning a family is not what it use to be....majority of kids these days are ooopsies (the percentage of how many parents actually admit to that is very low)....we all need to cover it up boys, even if she sais she on the pill... like Mike Holmes sais, go that extra mile with the weather stripping, too much protection to save energy on those windows and doors is always better just to be safe... |

I have 3 each neices and nephews, whom I love dearly. And, while I'm not into the Christian religion, I do like the passage in the Bible that says something along the lines of childless women have the most children. I think that's because we can offer motherly support and utilize our maternal instincts more openly, while women who have children of their own need to concentrate on just their kids.
