but..lol the mexican part of me says...why stop at 4? keep goin and goin...

whoa Kinda of selfish, don't you think? Kids don't ask to be brought in this world and being of a certain nationality or religion that says procreate (without concern for their welfare) is selfish.

Unfit parents, people sucking up government assistance, and the earth being tapped out in terms of natural resources is reason enough to rethink having more than one or two.

What burns my butt even more is when adults -- that have kids together -- aren't balanced enough to maintain a relationship with each other and still think it's a good idea to have kids. Shouldn't mastering a relationship, understanding WHO will be the father or mother of someone's kids, or the meaning of commitment even in the worst of times MORE important than actually having a child? If a person doesn't have the skills to be in a relationship, how will they teach their kids to have the skills to be in a relationship?

This is a sensitive subject. I now defer. winking flowerforyou
I must apologize dear Melody girl..I see your point and it's a very found and solid, a very intelligent and dignified answer. However, I would now like to inform you that I was strictly joking...I'm not that goofy.

And I don't want to have them in litters, either! scared one at a time, please! One guy that I dated joked about maybe we should wish for triplets adn be done in one fell swoop. I told him that I would do the medical procedure on him with a dull knife if I had a litter.

Yeah, but certainly not directed at anyone here. You guys didn't say it, and the one who did is VERY computer illiterate. If he can't have a talking computer like on Star Trek, he won't use one.

My gf of over a year has a kid and she is the nicest, most caring woman I have ever met. Before her I only dated single moms, it was a maturity thing with me. True there were some that had the IQ of a houseplant, I simply didn't date them any longer, but I refuse to group all single moms into a conglomerate of manipulative people. Sounds like you had bad experience, and now a vendetta

No, Peccy.. He's saying that the GUY is the one that's out for the cookies, not the woman.
