It's easy to see why the Atheist have to go back hundreds of years to find a little dirt on the Christians.The Christians haven't been killing anyone in hundreds of years.You might as well be fair and go back hundreds of years and compare what the Atheist and the other religions used to do in that time frame. This is debating at its very worst.Ignoring hundreds of years of peace and bringing up a small event that not only the Christians were participating in but so where the Aethiest.A real person could debate present events. You might want to start a topic on all the violence and hate that Christianity has put a end to.The Christians have brought more peace to this world than any Atheist ever did or ever will and thats the truth! Pig's arse! There are more christian soldiers fighting islamic fundamentalists than ever before! Everytime you open your gob, you look sillier and sillier.... not a good look at all.

Supposin' I was shoppin' around for a God to believe in... Which one should I pick...?
Allah, the Muslim God? Christian God (Virgin Mary's baby daddy?) Jewish God? The Wiccan Goddess? Zulu God? Hmmm... all the above gods (and there are dozens more that I didn't mention) have millions of followers who have faith in their god and know 100% that theirs is the true god. I'm confused... It'd be awesome if there were to be held a battle of the Gods, a winner takes all sorta thing... you know? Yeah, I'll just wait till the Gods figure it out, then I'll follow the last remaining true god... |

So it's not evil to take orders from another "Christian", who happens to be the leader of our country, to go to war against another nation? Because to them they probably believe we are the evil ones. Who gets to decide who's right? Furthermore do you believe that Jesus will allow those who aren't believers but have led a good honest life to be killed just because they didn't believe? That in itself seems pretty evil. |

It's easy to see why the Atheist have to go back hundreds of years to find a little dirt on the Christians.The Christians haven't been killing anyone in hundreds of years.You might as well be fair and go back hundreds of years and compare what the Atheist and the other religions used to do in that time frame. Actually, we don't. There are Christians out there murdering doctors who perform abortions. But each time we bring those instances up, we get told that those people "aren't real christians." And, whether you like it or not, the blood of those cases brought up, from hundreds of years ago, is still on your hands. |

Bosnia-Herzegovina: 1992-1995 - 200,000 Deaths From what I've read, from un-biased sites, Religion did play a role in this, and it wasn't "lack of". Since the Serbs(Orthodox Christians) were killing Muslims... Rwanda: 1994 - 800,000 Deaths Simple research shows this was politically charged, and had little to do with religion, including "lack of" Pol Pot in Cambodia: 1975-1979 - 2,000,000 Deaths Nazi Holocaust: 1938-1945 - 6,000,000 Deaths These two guys are grouped together, because ideologically, they are the same. Pol Pot made references to heaven/destiny wanting him to lead Cambodia, and Hitler has made a number of quotes, including :" I believe today that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator." But, either way, both these (even while Hitler's was motivated by a hatred of Jews.) were attempts at building a perfect utopia. Rape of Nanking: 1937-1938 - 300,000 Deaths The main religious beliefs of Japan are Shinto and Buddhism, and a mix of the two. So, again, not quite the Atheists your trying to claim they were. Stalin's Forced Famine: 1932-1933 - 7,000,000 Deaths The reasons behind this were purely political. The Ukraine wanted Independence, Stalin didn't want to grant it to them. Armenians in Turkey: 1915-1918 - 1,500,000 Deaths This is just another example of Muslims ridding the world of "infidels"... |
