...THE UNIFIED THEORY OF CREATION AND EVOLUTION ..continued..

... In search of food, the pair might've sumbled upon a secret underground installation -- where "visitors" kept the supplies -- and inadvetently might've consumed sumething.. (since Eve has been the the hungriest, she was the first one to take a bite out of what seemed like a perfect apple...) And then.. well, the rest is history...

 I think its highly possible that there are Earth like planets with humans like us on them.

I not only think it's possible, but would be impossible that somewhere in the universe there are human like us. Over 300 extrasolar planets have been discovered and in our galactic neighborhood. I think that means our solar system isn't unique, therefore must be innumerable other planets similar to ours.

Humans like us? May be human-like (i.e. resembling humans), but the likelihood of aliens being human like us is highly improbable! Even if the seed of life had ever been implanted on this planet, the natural process of Evolution has taken its course, influencing the development of species...
It would be highly improbable (though o.ooo1% Not impossible) the same conditions occurred somewhere else in space -- though the similarities might actually be striking!

The standard model of star system formation would indicate that many, if not most star systems have planets. We have only recently developed the technology to detect and photograph them. The chances of a planet having reasonable temperatures and water is much smaller but not remote. Life would probably exist on most, if not all, wet temperate planets.

The possibility of intelligent life is even smaller. A dolphin is intelligent but we can't talk to one. The chances of intelligent life that looks like us gets smaller still. However, if intelligent life came to this planets at various times in history and looked like a three headed bird or a giant octopus, it could explain some of our myths and legends. Today we would just call them "Ancient Astronauts".

Ok, so aliens come to earth and build structures that supposedly humans didn't have the technology to build. Why wouldn't they use something a little more modern than stone and simple metals? Perhaps if they had built the pyramids with a titanium alloy surface covering I might buy it.

Because the pyramids and whatever else is not built by aliens but humans.
whos to say humans were not aliens once upon a time?????slaphead

The pyramids: Some have said that "At one time things were much lighter..."

Perhaps matter was different then. Perhaps matter was not so heavy at one time. Does the density of matter change? I think it does.

I don't know about matter getting lighter but we may have been stronger or had abilities and technology that have been lost which would result in the ability to do things that we can't today. It would have the same result.

There was an old movie called "Atlanis, the Lost Continent". In it, the Atlantians wielded great power by the use of crystals. This same theme has been used in Sci Fi for years. Research has shown that crystals may actually be able to due way more than scientifically thought possible just a few years ago by sitting up standing waves and interference patterns in matter. You can actually generate electricity by placing pressure on a crystal or reverse the effect and and make it move by the application of electricity. This effect is how the fire starter works on most gas grills and how the frenquency is controlled in radios.

BTW JennieBean, your posts are some of the best because they show such a unique perspective. drinker

Reminds me of the movies "Superman" where he lives in a crystal cave using sophisticated crystals to gather information both from his homeworld and Earth. Very interesting.drinker

We now have the ability to store enormous amounts of data in crystals. Wouldn't it be a shame to find a crystal that contained the information on some past civilization, then cut it up and make jewelery because it is pretty?

Yeah, that's what happened to all of the encient "tape-recorders" of past civilizations -- that have been based on crystals instead of the magnetic tape... However, the technology has been irrevocably lost.

No wonder I feel exhilaration when I put my diamond pendant on -- and all sorts of weird thoughts come rushing to my head... I'm gonna have it examined by specialists! (the diamond, that is) -- although I doubt an enthomologist would be of much help. That would have to be a multi-purpose specialist: Psycho-Medi-Enthomologist?

As for my head, it could also benefit from examination... laugh

Oh, my darling, I wish I could... Something's missing in my PC that prevents me from posting my pic! But I'm working on it. And one of these days you'll be rewarded for your patience...
